My Message

I am deeply committed to my native region of East Tennessee, and like many of you I'm frustrated and angered with the lack of real constitutional representation displayed by our current representative and his party, and in fact, with the other party as well. Therefore, I'm not running to toe the party line, but as an individual, and one who holds to a strict adherence to the Constitution of the United States. Having a good understanding of constitutional law, and a real vigilance in protecting individual civil liberties. In protecting our civil liberties big government must be curtailed to its constitutional size, scope, and power.

It's time that our region was represented by someone who understands real East Tennessee values like hard work, family values, responsibility, and faith. In addition, a real constitutional understanding how the federal government is suppose to work. Someone who will represent the best interests of East Tennesseans, someone who will provide honest, effective, and a constitutional representation from our region to Washington DC.

The very core of all our problems that exist today, stem from Washington's total disregard to following the constitution as the founding fathers has prescribed for constitutional government in size, scope, and power. For far too long our politicians have been ignoring, and blatantly disregarding the supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. Samuel Adams said, “If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin.” In this I rise on this occasion to meet our nation's call, as a patriot and a fellow Tennessean to meet those challenges in Washington DC.

The many ills that our region suffers, and the nation as a whole be it health care, energy costs, housing, school tuition, prescription drugs, employment, retirement, and the cost of living in general, is the direct cause of government intervention, and moreover, to this illegal monetary system that has a stranglehold on our lives, known as The Federal Reserves System. Article one-section ten, demands that “only gold and silver are to be legal tender.” Gold and silver have always held their value for more than six thousand years. Did you know that from 1833 to 1900 the cost of living remained relatively the same for that sixty-seven year period. How much has our cost of living been going up since the creation of this leviathan known as the Federal Reserves? The answer, our cost of living has risen by more than eighteen hundred percent since its conception. In effect, they have stolen from our savings; our livelihoods, and our children's future! I have but one statement to say to this, and that this, ‘Stop Thief!’

As your representative I will work to get the federal government off our backs, out of our wallets, and out of our living rooms. I will do everything in my power, as the constitution allows me, to help reduce the size, scope, and power of the federal government in our lives....
