When will my port be put on your DeviantArt?
I may or may not put your finished piece on DA, because ports tend to clutter up my page, while I’d much rather fill it with other types of personal art.
I don’t have $10. Can you draw me anyway?
Unfortunately, drawing ports is my job. It’s helping me pay my bills as my only source of income. I would like to give away free ports, but most of the time my budget just can’t handle it.
Did you get my message about commissioning me?
My spam box on Yahoo is pretty picky. I’ve made it so that it doesn’t spam anything that says “Commission” in it, but sometimes it acts up and I have to beat it with a stick. I go through the spam box about twice a week to find those stray e-mails. Unless you sent me an e-mail to my yahoo account, do not expect me to draw a port for you. I’m sorry!
Why not?
I’ve had too many incidences in the past where someone has whispered me “Will you draw me?” and my short term memory loss makes me forget that I was going to, then they were angry. So ONLY E-MAILS, please. No DA messages or whispers, please!
When should I send my payment?
With everyone who commissions me, I ask that you do not send payment until your portrait is complete and has been e-mailed to you. This is because although I am doing this for a living; I also have school. Normally, portraits should only take me a number of hours, but in the event that schoolwork starts taking control of my life, I do not want to keep people waiting for something they have already paid for.
