Welcome to the home of the Metro FC 99 Rapids. We are a u10 girls team,
playing in the Miami Valley Youth Soccer Association, Division 1. We are a proud member of the Metro Fc Soccer Club in Kettering, Ohio. We are coached by Mikal Grossman, Dennis Pulaski and Scott Jarrell. If you have any questions, please contact head Coach Mikal Grossman and thanks for visiting our site.
The stars on our logo represent PRIDE, HEART and RESPECT.
Pride, in themselves, their teamates and their club
Heart, to persevere regardless of the score of the game, conditions on the field or their level of fatigue
Respect, of the laws of the game, their opponents, their coaches and their families
Every Month, during the soccer seasons, Metro Fc picks a "Player of the Month". These players represent the best things about soccer: talent, hard work and a winning attitude. For the Month of May, the newest Player of the Month for all U9 ladies is Caroline Winch (pictured to the left). Caroline's hard work really shows in her play on the field. Congratulations Caroline and to all our Player of the Month winners, both past and present. Remember, you to can win this award if you never give up.
For a list of our past award winners, see the ROSTER page of this site
In order to get to know the 2009-2010 U10 Lady Rapids, we had a pool party. The get together was held at Oakcreek swim club on Pondview Dr in Kettering. It was pizza and swimming, while the bad weather held off. I know my daughter had fun and I hope that the others did too. Here are a few pictures

Next is Street soccer for u8-u14. This will be held on Sundays during the Month of July. The boys time slot is from 5-6:30, the girls from 6:30-8. As I have stated before, this is not mandatory, but rather an opportunity for our girls to get back on the field.
Training runs for 9 weeks, and is held at Delco Park. Times for the Fall '09 season will be 6:15-7:15 on Wednesdays, starting August 3rd.The last couple of seasons we have been lucky to train with David Wall. His bio is available at Metro's website.
Always wear our training gear (white tee, red shorts and white socks) to all trainings. Remember, it's Metro policy that if you are unable to make our regular scheduled training time that you can attend another. Here is the link
