I would like to tell you a little aboout us. David has 15 years experience handling horses. He acted as assistant to me for as many. He is quite an athlete, and for 2 years he "allowed" me to teach him to ride on our adorable Haflinger mare (she passed on last year). That was 1992, and today he is one of the kindest riders I've ever seen. The horses love him!! He also has acted as stable manager and among other duties has been responsible for maintenance as well at Chloe Miller's farm in New Salem, Chloe was from Ludlow and was everything Morgan. We have one partly because we wanted her to approve! (Chloe unfortunately has passed on and i miss her immeasurably, as well as my precious mother) Working for Chloe full time for three years was like getting a PhD in everything horses. She and I always agreed about how to care for them.

Dave and I have been together since 1979. We were married in New Salem in 1991. We both love animals and physical labor! Dave has had the same job in Chicopee for almost 20 years cutting steel. He is also a welder and very good with wood. We have rebuilt our present barn and paddocks to my satisfaction, which takes some doing! We still have some superficial work to do...mostly painting and landscaping, but other jobs as well, so please excuse the continual projects.
Anyone involved with my husband and me and our farm cannot help but have fun, and isn't that what our lives should have plenty of??
