serve a ½ noon detention for not completing their assignment in a timely
manner. The detention time can be
used to complete the missing assignment. All one-point infractions earn a ½
noon detention. The students may use
the time to work on any class assignment. A progressive system of consequences
is used when students earn three or five point infractions: o 1st
infraction: ½ noon detention o 2nd
infraction: Full noon detention o 3rd
infraction: 15 minute p.m. detention o 4th
infraction: 30 minute p.m. detention o 5th

good behavior) o 6th
infraction: Administrative action On a daily basis a computer program examines the
previous 14 calendar days for each student to determine how many points
he/she has accumulated. The points
earned then determine the Honor Level for each student based on the following
criteria:

expectations. WHAT ELSE SHOULD
I KNOW?
Physical aggression, removal from a
classroom or student behavior that violates OASD Policy, city ordinances, and
state statutes is not part of the Honor Level Program. The consequences for such behavior may
include arrest, suspension, and/or pre-expulsion and could immediately place
a student on Honor Level 3 or 4.
