We are committed to the preservation of the old style mittel, a dog of ample size and working ability, possessing endurance and great beauty. A dog that is useful as a companion in all areas of life .This is NOT a political site but we do endorse certain principles. Mittel means just that, middle or medium .It is our contention that once you attempt to downsize the mittel or underrate its ability in the field, the breed will lose much of its original function & thus its distinctive aptitude for a variety of dogsports.

This site has been created , not only to celebrate my own mittelspitz, but also to salute all those Australian mittels who have titled in Obedience work with a fitting acknowledgement of those kennels whose dogs have contributed to the development of the breed in this country.
