 Merrifox specializes in the education of the Mittel German Spitz as an Obedience Trial exhibit, having been involved with the breed since 1994.

It is a unique kennel in that its primary aim is to promote the breed in this fashion.

While achieving titles in conformation, Merrifox is always  striving to identify, produce and preserve those working traits that will result in a trial dog. This breed `s aptitiude for this type of work has been largely untapped.

Come with us on this journey of discovery and see the German Spitz from a different perspective..As a worker in the Obedience ring.

This outstanding bitch has rewritten mittel German Spitz history in the Obedience ring .. She is pictured here ,aged 11, with me ,in the Veterans` Parade held in September 2007  run by the ACT  Non Sporting, Utility and Working Dog Club Inc..

 This was  to be our final outing .a happy day with no pressure, just content to be out in the sunshine together..

   Merrifox is not a breeding kennel primarily and will only offer an occasional litter to strictly approved buyers.Show &/or Obedience homes only. For availability,check the Puppy Page. We are making available in 2009 two outstanding males at stud to strictly approved bitches.
