Merlin and Gandalf

Hi and welcome to the site.

This is where i hope to show my two "babies"

Merlin (on the left) is a Series III swb 2.286 naturally aspirated diesel

Gandalf (on the right ) is a Discovery I 300tdi 

 At present both landrovers are pretty much as standard and will probably stay that way, apart from Merlin getting a set of Parabolic Springs when i can afford them.

 This is all going to evolve as i get more into using my landrovers for more than just transport

My aim is to gain some experience in off roading techniques once i have managed to learn more on the mechanical front.

 I purchased Merlin back in March 2007 and used him during the summer months he is now sat needing an MOT. I want to start to strip him down and see what is what, get an repairs done then get him his parabolic springs and a good dose of mud at Drumclog, ayreshire.

 Gandalf I got in December 2007 as more of a family motor, he is used on a daily basis and apart from the usual leaky bits seems to be a good strong landy.

I recently joined SLROC so that i could get more involved in the landy scene and learn both the vehicles capabilities and my own.

Watch this space as will try to keep a picture diary of what happens.
