We work hard on our outfits and have a great deal of fun with our accomplishments! Our first convention we went to was Otakon 2004, and we sure had a blast!
Now we are here to stay, working on outfits and looking through the pictures of our past outfits.

Greetings from Japan~! Hope everyone has been well! My english is slowly... becoming... worse and worse the more and more I stay in Japan... That's not a bad thing is it? I'm wondering what will happen when I come back to America... haha
I've been thinking recently about the upcoming Otakon 2008, it's surprisingly not that far away! I'm slightly worried in the sense of cosplay... because I will be coming home in the late of July... AKA no time to finish many costumes, possibly only one... So I guess I'll have to make that one pretty good... I'm going to be pitching ideas in the next week, just to see which would be easy enough to accomplish in a very short amount of time... It's going to be weird since I'm used to doing at the least 3 or 4 for each Otakon (last year was 5 right?) So I'm gonna upset I can't do that many... shouganai!
I'm thinking of doing the following: Simca (Air Gear), Alexiel (Angel Sanctuary), Gum (Jet Set Radio Future), or Franciska Von Karma (Pheonix Wright)
At the moment, thoses may be opinions... but I'm not sure yet... I'll look into it! If any of you have any ideas for me to do a certain cosplay (Like you think it would suit me well), then please let me know by guestbook signature or e-mail! (arigatou~!)

Hey all! Finally got the Katsucon 2008 page up, though there aren't too many pictures (as I really didn't have much time for camera stuffs). Sorry for the delay, my senior thesis ate up all my time for a while, but it's done now! Hopefully I'll see everyone at Otakon and/or Katsucon!

Konbanwa~! Hello from Japan! Julie here, bringing you another update from the most beautiful country in the world! I'm currently in Kyoto with my parents, they came to visit me while I am on spring break! It's really fun taking around and showing them everything! Good news, my Japanese has become well enough to communicate with people and translate for my parents! *Happy Happy*
Anywho, I updated the Hello from Japan page again! Please go take a look at all the random fun Japan pictures I have! Certainly, if you have any requests of pictures (aka: intersting items, places, people, etc.) please leave a comment in the guestbook, or e-mail me! I'd love to go hunting for pictures! Konbanwa~! Hello from Japan! Julie here and I've got some exciting news... well it's more like news for Shiris and Mayumi, but none the less, exciting!
Well~ As you all should know how we cosplay the 3 girls from Magic Knight Rayearth each year, if you know the storyline, the 3 girls meet in Tokyo Tower... well Guess who went to Tokyo Tower??? That's right, ME! The Umi made it to the Tower! (^_^) *Happy Happy* Let me show you some pictures!

I will admit, I got a bit choked up standing inside Tokyo Tower, *(It is however much smaller inside then it is in the Anime haha) I felt kinda aware of why I was in Japan and all... but it felt good to be reminded of home in a stranger way! I miss you guys! (T_T)
Well, Hopefully I'll be writing again soon~ (PS: I need some more love from you guys, I'm not getting much on this site! You guys have homework!)

Hello from Japan~! It's Julie again! Here to bring you some more pictures from my travels in Japan! It's wonderful and I'm having such a wonderful time! (You're all jealous of me aren't you?) (^_^) I travelled to a few places, let me show you:
So I went to Kyoto for the Thanksgiving weekend (Well in Japan it was Labor Day) and I first ate a fast food chicken sandwich (since I can't get Turkey here...) and then had 12 plates of sushi! haha! YAY THANKSGIVING!

So I finally got all the pictures up from Otakon 2007! It took a while! I've been so busy with getting everything ready for my year abroad in Japan! I cann't wait! I'm leaving the 28th! I can't believe it! in 2 weeks! It's totally unreal!

Well another wonderful Otakon has ended! We had a blast at this years Otakon! Our cosplay came out, I think, the best it has ever come out for the whole weekend! No major malfunctions! That deserves a big YAY~!!!
Some Highlights from Otakon 2007:
2 people came up to us and asked us if we were from Mercuryrose Cosplay! That made me super super happy! The fact that people are coming to our site AND recognizing us at conventions is just incredible to me! So thank you to those who recognized us! Others also recognized our Magic Knight Rayearth outfits from past years! *Happy Happy*
The AAA concert was amazing! I loooooove Attack All Around! I was super excited to see them!
The Rave as usual was awesome! All my favorite rave buddies were there and I met a bunch of new people! I am so excited about that! I love meeting new people!
Meeting the Voice Actor for Simmons at the Red vs Blue booth! That made me happy! He was really nice too!
Seeing all my favorite cosplay friends from the Cosplay Crack Crew and others I've met over the years! ^_^
On another note, the Otakon 2007 Cosplay page has been updated with alot of our pictures! Not all of them are up yet, but I'm getting there! I promise! It takes forever! So go check them out!

1 Week until OTAKON 2007!! The excitement sure is building inside me! The progress on my cosplay outfits is going splendid! Mostly everything is done, just small things here and there! I actually got all of my Lara Croft outfit done, which I didn't think I'd have anytime to do! The Enma Ai kimono is completely done, I just need to sew on the random flowers. Umi and Real are done and my Secret Rave Outfit is pretty much done, I want to change some things to make it more comfortable. I have to be able to dance dance dance in it! I loooove to rave!

Well well Otakon 2007 is less then a month away!!! Are you excited? Because I sure am!! ^_^ Much progress has been had for me and for the other girls as well! I'm pretty much done my Umi, Real, and Secret Rave Outfit #2 outfits! Can I get a w00t!? I'm so proud of myself, I can't believe I've got so much progress done a month before Otakon!!

I AM GOING TO JAPAN FOR A WHOLE YEAR~! Yes! I recieved my letter from International Christian University (ICU) on tuesday saying I was admitted into their school! I'll be studying Japanese for a whole year! I am so excited about this and I cannot wait to continue my studies in Japan!
That's basically all the new news I have to share... my finals start next week, so I'll be buried in school work for a while... I just want to go to Japan now! (T_T)

I would first like to address some of the new entries in our guestbook from immature people who find it amusing to leave mean comments... if you would kindly stop leaving hateful messages then I won't have to delete them every time you write things like that. I'm a busy college student as it is (Assuming these certain people don't even have a proper education, because they don't even have manners) and finding those kinds of comments in our guestbook is just flat out annoying. Seriously, grow up and learn how to act properly and not like a child...
For those who leave nice comments... Thank you very much for coming to Mercuryrose Cosplay~! I'm glad you like our outfits and we'll certianly be continuing our updates and progresses when our semesters are over and summer is in session! ^_^

Well It's been a while since I did an update for the site! (Since I'm the only one who updates >_>)I know I've been really busy with school and other things going on in my life! I haven't had any time to do any cosplay (T_T), that makes me sad! I've done alot of thinking and planning though, just because that's fun to do! I've been on Spring Break from school for the past week and I've been relaxing... how nice! However, no progress on my outfits has been made for Otakon yet (T_T) Ever since my appendix has been taken out, I don't have the enegry I had before! Katsucon has come and gone, but boy did I have a blast! ^_^ I saw many people I haven't seen in a while and it was great! My outfits had no malfunctions and they were so much fun to wear! I posted all the pictures I have and all the pictures I've found so far... they can be found on the Katsucon 2007 Cosplay and Katsucon 2007 Oth. Cosplay pages!
I would have updated earlier... however Monday morning I had to go to the hospital to get my appendix emergency removed! How crazy is that? I had no pain during Katsucon but I come back and BAM! I guess I really didn't want to get back to regular life! XD

So Katsucon is approaching fast! I realized I can't get my Mahiro from Samurai Deeper Kyo outfit done... since being a college student kills me more and more each day with work... So I'll be wearing Nana twice! (I have absolutely no problem with that! I love my Nana outfit!) I'm pretty much set for Katsucon, I just need to buy a few things and pack up!

I have so things to update for the site!
First off, I must give a huge thank you to Freewebs for featuring us as the Cosplay Girls! (You can see the feature on Freewebs homepage or scroll down after the updates to see the feature!) It is such an honor to be feature! It was such a little surprise when I logged in to freewebs.com to update the site today! I was so happy! ^__^ So Thank you Freewebs!
I would like to thank the many many new wave of people (and some returning! double thanks!) who have come to our site and signed our guestbook, (I'm assuming because we were featured was how so many people found this site!) Many of your comments were very nice, so thank you! Some were strange, but glad you came to our site! And others were either rude or misunderstanding of our site... but those I got a good laugh at XD
I am currently worrying about my 3rd costume for Katsucon, because Revy will most likely not be finished in time... I was thinking about moving on to Revy, since her outfit is easier. I cannot wait for Katsucon! ^_^

Wow oh WOW, I haven't been able to check the site for a while... since myself being a college student balancing 2 languages (Japanese and Arabic... O_O) ... it's pretty tough to find free time!
May I just give an incredible THANK YOU for all the people who have been coming to the site, checking out all of our pictures, and signing the guestbook (<3 to all the ones who sign the guestbook!). Some of the comments gave me different reactions. There were "awww's + thank you!", face expressions of " O.O' *sweat drop*", and none the less some laughter from the people commenting about why would we ever put these pictures on the internet! XD I will definately try to get around to all the comments and questions though. They will most likely be taken care of over winter break ^__^
On another note, I am giving a hoping plee that atleast myself can make it to Ohayocon. There is a 95% I'm going to Katsucon, which is nice... so if any of you are going to those, please let me know, we can chat and hang out at the convention! I'm a friendly person XD
On another note... I missed both myself and Mayumi's birthdays! haha ^_^' oops... Well my birthday was on October 28th, so Tanjoubi Omedetou to me! (I turned 20 and yes I'm the baby of the group) Mayumi on October 31st turned 21! Happy Birthday to her! XD
Progress on costumes will start up again over winter break... since my college life is very full at the moment! No worries though! Winter Break is soon! Yay! I can't wait! Until next time! Ja mata ne~ ^_^

Well It's been a while since I last updated! (Again... Gomen ne~!) First (Since I didn't do this on the day...), Last Friday was Shiris' birthday! She turned 21! Everyone give a big Happy Birthday to Shiris! ^_^

As boredom increased in the line for L'arc~en~Ciel at Otakon 2004, we had to resort to taking a picture of a flower because they threatened they would turn us away at the door if we had cameras. They didn't even check our bags, those liars! (>.<)
