The beginning of a collection
It all started in the mid 90's back in Med school when I went to a fellow students home for his birthday. We decided to give him a 1:18 model of a BMW 850. He also had a brother with a nice Ferrari collection, and it's that collection that got me started into model collecting. Back at home my dad drove a white 124. I loved that car and that's when I learned to love the Mercedes-Benz automobile.

Most of the manufacturers are present in my collection, but you will not find (at this time) any Welly, Hot Works or Mattel/Hot wheels.

Themes
First I started collecting only streetcars, but after a while (in 2003-2004), I began to run out of streetcars I was missing, so I began to collect Formula 1 cars. Since these came out once every year, I also began collecting other motorsport categories such as DTM (CLK, C Class) and GT (GTR's). I had to have trucks too. Even though they take a lot of space, given their quality, they had to be part of my collection.
