I like sonic, My best friend likes sonic, and well.. Deal with it!!! Jk smiles! This page is in honor of a close friend, you know who you are'z! Love all ya'll and dont get addicted to sonic the hedgehog like my friend made me.
;)
According to Sonic, this black hedgehog looks just like him (though technically, there are some differences). Shadow is an ageless immortal who can wield the power of the chaos emerald to perform the time and space warping "Chaos Control". Shadow has his own agenda and will do all he can to keep to it, making him a very dangerous person focused on his own mission.
Maria was Shadow's friend. She made him promise to give the world a chance to be happy, but he could only remember half of her promise and instead tried to take revenge. When Amy/Chris (depending on game/tv show) talks to Shadow trying to convince him to help them, he remembers Maria's promise and then goes to the rescue, becoming Super Shadow along with Super Sonic and defeating the Final hazard (correct name for the giant lizard attached to the colony).
Maria actually died SAVING Shadow from GUN. Shadow and Maria were best friends- they had plans to go to Earth until GUN showed up. They were trying to escape when a member of GUN found them. Maria shoved Shadow into an escape pod and pulled the lever, just as she was shot. Shadow made it his mission to avenge her death once Eggman woke him up, but ultimately Shadow sacraficed himself to help Sonic stop Eggman.
After the events of Space Colony ARK, everyone, including Chris, thought Shadow was dead... that is, until Episode 60: "Shadow has Returned". When he was woken up, thanks to the Chaos emeralds, he couldn't remember anything. However, Eggman promised to give Shadow back his memory. Let's all hope Eggman isn't making a promise he can't deliver!
The main story of the blue hedgehog is set on Earth, although contradicting information says the whole franchise is set on Planet Mobius. Nevertheless, the animals of Sonic's home are captured by Doctor 'Eggman' Robotnik, a super genius and one of the only humans in the series. He uses the little critters to build robots, sometimes called 'Badniks' to take over the world, but of course Sonic is always there to stop him.
The majority of Sonic games are within the platforming genre, with a heavy emphasize on speed. Simple controls, creative level designs and gorgeous animations made the original Mega Drive games instant classics - Sonic 2 is sometimes regarded as the best available.
The 3D games have usually been criticized for their slower gameplay and awkward camera angles. Sonic the Hedgehog 2006, the first game for the seventh generation, was critically panned and the worst rated of the series.
Sonic was alone in the beginning but future releases brought along new friends and enemies. Sonic 2 was the first appearance of Miles 'Tails' Prower, Sonic's two-tailed best friend, and Knuckles the Echidna was introduced as Sonic's enemy

| Silver |
| First Seen: Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) |
| Biography |
|
Silver the Hedgehog is a silver-colored hedgehog character (hence the name) introduced to the Sonic series in the 15th anniversary version of sonic the hedgehog.
Silver's primary ability is psychokinesis (often abbreviated PK), which is the ability to move things with his mind. He is able to use this ability in a number of offensive and defensive ways. The most common use of the ability is taking hold of and moving objects such as boxes, enemies, and even other characters. Silver can either set such objects down, throw them one by one, or throw them all at once. The number of objects Silver can hold at once is generally limited by the amount of energy in the PK meter displayed onscreen. Other uses of Silver's PK include paralyzing enemies and rivals (enabling him to hold and throw them), firing stun waves, temporarily confusing opponents by scrambling their controls, and even manipulating surrounding environments.
Silver isn't as fast a runner as Sonic or Shadow but has the ability to fly. It is assumed he uses his psychokinetic powers to lift himself. He is seen hovering in various cutscenes and also in the majority of his victory poses. Players of the 2006 Sonic the Hedgehog could use Silver's flight to warp quickly over short distances, and glide slowly over longer ones.
In the 2006 Sonic the Hedgehog, Silver comes from 200 years in the future. His world lies in ruins due to the immortal fire monster Ilbils. Frustrated at being unable to destroy Iblis, Silver and his partner Blaze the cat. are send back to the present day by Mephiles the dark. Mephiles tells them that in order to save their world, they must kill the "Iblis Trigger", which would unleash Iblis upon the world. The "trigger" was revealed to be Sonic the hedgehog.
After a first failed attempt at his mission, Silver questions the morality of killing someone to save the world. Blaze reminds him that doing nothing will change nothing, and Silver renews his goal. Silver was thwarted a second time by Shadow the hedgehog , whom he mistook for Mephiles. Motivated by the thought of failing his mission, Silver activates Chaos Control at the exact same time Shadow does. This creates a time portal to 10 years prior to the present day, which the two use to learn the true origin of Iblis and Mephiles.
After witnessing the original sealing of Iblis, Silver returns to the present to help Sonic save Princess Elise. Sonic gives Silver a second Chaos Emerald which he and Blaze use to return to their own time. Silver is unable to seal Iblis in his own body, and thus Blaze seals it within herself and transports herself to another dimension. Iblis is eliminated from the future and the world is saved, or so everyone thinks.
Mephiles kills Sonic in the present, thus unleashing Iblis via Elise's tears. Mephiles merges with Iblis to become Solaris and begins to consume time itself. The remaining heroes search through time to locate the Chaos Emeralds. Sonic is revived as Super Sonic and transforms Silver and Shadow into their Super States. The three hedgehogs travel through time and simultaneously defeat the time transcending Solaris in the past, present, and future. Solaris is then erased from time which causes the events of the game to have never occurred.
Having technically been erased from the plotline, Silver is reintroduced to the series in Sonic Rivals. Silver has again traveled back in time, this time to stop Egg man Nega from altering history. After a series of competitions with Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles, and Metal Sonic, Silver confronts Eggman Nega. Nega's machine backfires and he is turned into a card. Silver is last seen saying that he will find and restore the other items Nega has turned into a card and then return to the future. Whether Silver completes this mission is never revealed.
Eggman Nega managed to escape from his card prison into the present time, where he was able to unleash an interdimensional beast called the Ifrit upon the world. This unleashing caused a similar effect to Iblis' release, and thus Silver returned to a wrecked future. To set things right, he traveled to the present once again to stop Nega from releasing the Ifrit. He teamed up with Espio The Charlmeo to take back all the Chao Nega had captured. If the Ifrit were to eat the Chao alive, it would become invincible.
Along the way Silver encountered many friends and foes including Team Sonic, Shadow, Rouge, and Metal Sonic. All eight of them ended up in the Ifrit's home dimension. While half of the group were put under mind control, the other half, including Silver, successfully defeated the Ifrit, and escaped the alternate dimension. Silver decided to leave Eggman Nega trapped under rubble in the new dimension, and returned to what he hopes is a happy future. Only time will tell if it is though.

| Blaze |
| First Seen: Sonic Rush (2005) |
| Biography |
|
Blaze the Cat is a 14-year-old female cat who made her debut in the Nintendo DS video game Sonic Rush. She is a princess (people often refer to her as a queen; however, she is referred to as a princess in the American and European versions) from an alternate dimension, where, similar to Knuckles in Sonic's dimension, she is the defender of the Sol Emeralds. Though she is alone in Sonic's world and painfully shy when meeting strangers, she will not let this prevent her from fulfilling her mission: to retrieve the Sol Emeralds and save her world from destruction. Her dimension and Sonic's are in flux with each other, allowing the characters to travel from one to the other through a tear in the space-time continuum. Blaze is the only playable character aside from Sonic himself, available after Sonic beats Dr. Robotnik in the Leaf Storm Zone.
Throughout the game, Blaze learns the meaning of friendship from Sonic and friends, especially Cream the Rabbit. Cream opens her up to the world and teaches her the value of friendship: the two become close partners like Sonic and Miles "Tails" Prower, similarly to how Tails values Sonic as an older brother and hero, Cream similarly learns to idolize Blaze, if not more in a friendly way.
It is through the power of friendship that Blaze realizes the true powers of the Sol Emeralds, and she transforms into her super form (Blaze's costume goes red, her wrists/gloves turn to flames, and a fire force field develops around her as a product of the Sol Emeralds rather than the lighter colour and force field of Chaos energy usually used with the Chaos Emeralds. In this state, she is referred to as Burning Blaze) to help Super Sonic stop Eggman and Eggman Nega from taking over the universe. After Super Sonic and Burning Blaze defeat them, they promise to see each other again and say their goodbyes as they shake hands, being torn apart by their respectful dimensions being returned to normal. Blaze, still in super form, now understands her power and friendship, as she thinks on Sonic's words of advice.
There is a rumor claiming Blaze's super form is named Phoenix Blaze, although this is untrue. This probably originates from her fire powers as the legendary bird similarly possesses.
Blaze's later appeared in the sequel to Sonic Rush, Sonic Rush Adventure, again as a playable character. She has appeared as an amigo character in Sonic the Hedgehog and in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity as an unlockable racer.

| Amy Rose |
| First Seen: Sonic the Hedgehog CD (1993) |
| Biography |
|
Amy "Rosie the Rascal" Rose (Japanese:エミー・ローズ) is a young pink hedgehog character from the Sonic the Hedgehog games. She has chased Sonic for well over a decade now, trying to gain his heart in everything from animated TV shows to movies and games.
Despite the fact Amy's roots are from the 1992 Sonic manga, Amy Rose's first appearance in a Sonic game was during Sonic the Hedgehog CD in 1993. She was a girl hedgehog who dabbled in fortune telling. Upon learning of Sonic's appearance, she chased Sonic in Palmtree Panic. In Collision Chaos, she gets kidnapped by Metal Sonic. Sonic rescues her in the game, but dashes off. Amy had proclaimed him her boyfriend, even though he didn't think that way of her.
In this earlier era, Amy wore a green polo shirt, an orange skirt, and purple sneakers, and had hair/quills styled identical to Sonic's, with a tuft of hair added.
She later appeared in Sonic Drift and Sonic Drift 2 as a playable character. She made it into the edutainment title Sonic's Gameworld as well. Amy became a minor character in the Archie comics, however writer Karl Bollers, lead writer of the Sonic comic has informed fans they will indeed be able to see her more often than in previous years. Previous years where she was too young to go anywhere near enemy lines, the girl is now finding a voice and is one of the prized fighters on the side of king Max. In Archie's universe, Amy Rose is a girl who likes reading and shopping, and while its unknown if she has any feelings still for Sonic, it has been announced by Archie that Sonic loves Amy in the way a brother would love a sister. Even if Amy does love Sonic, she her Archie character is not as aggressive about it as her SEGA and Sonic X counterparts are.
She appeared in a hidden cameo in Knuckles' Chaotix, only seen in the sound test after a code is entered in the color test screen.
In 1996, she appeared in the arcade game Sonic the Fighters (Sonic Championship in the U.S.) She got her weapon, the Piko Piko Hammer. In Sonic the Comic (Fleetway), which she had appeared in prior in, she already got the crossbow as her weapon prior to this game.
Amy also appeared in Sonic R as a playable character.
In 1998, Sonic Adventure pushed Amy into the spotlight. Her coif was redesigned, and she now wore a red dress with red and white boots to take advantage of her new 12 years. She was given green eyes, the same as Sonic's eye color. Amy was playable and still had her weapon of choice, the Piko Piko Hammer. She also kept that weapon in Sonic Advance.
Amy was a supporting character in Sonic Adventure 2, but she got a secret playable appearance in Sonic Advance 2.
In Sonic Heroes, Amy leads Team Rose, named after her. Amy leads the team's speed formation. Team Rose represents the least difficult mode in this game. She is accompanied by Cream the Rabbit and Big the Cat on a mission to impress Sonic, while Big wants to find his friend Froggy (again), and Cream and Cheese want to find Cheese's brother, Chocola. Amy also appears in Sonic X and Sonic Advance 3, and has a starring role in the Sonic Café game Amy's American Page One.
| Princess Sally Acorn |
| Series: Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM) |
Sally is a female squirrel/chipmunk originally based off of the small squirrel sprite in the early Sega Genesis games, known as "Ricky" in the Japanese Sonic 1 manual. She has seen many different incarnations and variations, but her first named appearance and original creator are currently unknown.
Sally has appeared in Sonic media dating back to at least early 1993, and appears (albeit, unnamed) as a small squirrel with a pink bow in a 1991 origins comic distributed by Sega of America around the release of Sonic 1. Sally is mentioned by name in the 1993 UK publication, "Stay Sonic," and also appears as a minor character in the Fleetway comic series. Most US Sonic publications of the time also feature Sally as a supporting character. She has a minor appearance as a captured Freedom Fighter in the bonus stages of the Sonic Spinball video game developed by STI, and, according to an early development script and statements from Chris Senn and Peter Morawiec, would have been featured prominently in Sonic-16 and Sonic Mars. The name "Princess Sally" is also erroneously given to Amy Rose in the North American version of the Sonic CD instruction manual, presumably for the sake of continuity in the West. She has a brief appearance in the TV special, Sonic's Christmas Blast.

| Miles "Tails" Prower |
| First Seen: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (1992) |
| Biography |
|
Miles Prower, better known by his nickname, Tails (Japanese: テイルス), is a character in the Sonic the Hedgehog series of video games, comics and TV shows released by SEGA. "Miles Prower" is a pun on "miles per hour", a reference to the famed speed of the Sonic games. He is an 8-year old fox with two tails, which enable him to fly.
Contents[hide] |
Yasushi Yamaguchi designed Tails for an internal competition for the sidekick. His entry won, beating out other submissions such as a rocket-powered turtle named Boomer, but his character's name was changed from "Miles" to "Tails". Yasushi then sneaked the name "Miles" into the character's name as his legal name; "Tails" would be his nickname. Yasushi ended up with a compromise.
In the games, Tails first appeared as a big fan of Sonic's, who began following him after being rescued by the hedgehog. After following his hero relentlessly for a long time, Tails eventually became fast enough to keep up with Sonic by spinning his two tails like a propeller.
Miles was first seen on Sonic 2 for the Master System but made his first hit in Sonic 2 for the Mega Drive (Genesis) where he played the part of Sonic's sidekick and also as a playable character. He could not fly when being controlled at this point- but this changed first in Sonic Chaos (Sonic and Tails in Japan), and then in Sonic 3 when he made his second major appearance.
Although he can fly like a helicopter, he also enjoys flying Sonic's red biplane, the Tornado. As the series progressed, it was obvious his interest in the old biplane went farther than just piloting it- Tails is a mechanical genius with intelligence comparable to Dr. Eggman's, and soon after, many modifications to the Tornado, as well as new biplanes, were added to his arsenal. He also operates a small blue submarine called the 'Sea Fox' and a F1 racer called the 'Whirlwind S7'.
In Sonic Adventure, Tails was experimenting with a Chaos Emerald-powered prototype plane based on Sonic's Tornado, the Tornado II. The Tornado II had two modes. One was quite similar to the old Tornado, but with a button press, Tails could make it transform into a rather futuristic-looking little plane, which outperformed the Tornado in all but one important function; landing gear. Big the Cat ended up flying the wrecked Tornado II to his home after Sonic and Tails crash-landed on Eggman's flying fortress, the Egg Carrier.
In Sonic Adventure 2 Tails uses the Tornado II's greatest upgrade: the Cyclone. The Cyclone has three modes; the plane mode, the car mode, and the mech mode. The mech mode gets the most use in the game, the car is used on only one level and in multiplayer, and the airplane is only seen in cutscenes. Tails drives the mech during all other gameplay, except when visiting the Chao.
The Tornado that appears in the Sonic Adventure series and Sonic Heroes resembles the Polikarpov I-153 Chaika, a Soviet biplane from WWII; the I-153's engine is a Wright 'Cyclone'.
Just like many of the characters who hang around Sonic, Tails can do the Sonic Spin and the Spin Dash, as well as attack with his tails by twirling around. In Sonic Heroes, as the flyer of Team Sonic, he can also use Thunder Shoot, whereby he electrically charges Sonic and Knuckles and hurls them at his enemies (without Sonic or Knuckles being harmed, of course). He can also swim quite well, something Sonic has never learned to do, or wants to, since the hedgehog hates water and won't even touch it except to take a bath.
Tails cannot transform with the seven Chaos Emeralds like Sonic, Knuckles and Shadow can. In Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Tails transforms into Super Tails if he gains the power of the seven Super Emeralds, which are powerful incarnations of the Chaos Emeralds at their full power when exposed to the Master Emerald.
Tails, aside from Sonic, plays major roles in almost every possibly released Sonic game.
Tails has appeared in several cartoon shows, such as SatAM (voiced by Bradley Pierce), Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (voiced by Christopher Evan Welch), and Sonic X (voiced by Amy Palant). He is absent from Sonic Underground, however.
He also appears in the British Sonic the Comic, where he hails from the Nameless Zone, which can apparently only be accessed by a space warp. A misunderstanding led Tails to the Emerald Hill Zone, the streets of which he believed were paved with real emeralds, but once there, Tails immediately became fascinated with Sonic, and eventually became his sidekick. Unfortunately for him, though, he exaggerated the relationship in letters home, professing that HE was the great hero of Mobius and that Sonic was HIS sidekick, which resulting in the elders of the Nameless Zone often calling him back, and gifting him with a suit of enchanted armour to defend their Zone from assorted evil - and poor old Tails never did quite manage to explain the truth.
Tails also appears in the American Archie Sonic comics, where he is developed upon as the chosen one and the son of Rosemary and Amadeus Prower. In the Archie Sonic comic, he seemed to have lost his parents at an early age, and admired the Freedom Fighters, particularly Sonic. He has grown pretty close with the Princess Sally, as he calls her Aunt Sally. He is also Sonic's surrogate little brother. Jules and Bernie hedgehog (Sonic's parents in the comic version) also view Tails as a son to them and lastly Mina Mongoose has been making an impact too. While he is by no means romantically interested in Mina, he certainly does enjoy her company and likes her singing.
When he absorbs fifty rings and seven Chaos Emeralds, he becomes Turbo Tails. His fur color changes from orange to dark orange, and all natural abilities upgraded and he is, like Super Sonic, immune to all attacks that come his way. He has only once made an appearance as Super Tails after he had absorbed the power of a thousand power rings in a battle along side Ultra Sonic against the evil wizard Ixis Naugus. He was aided by four flickies that have chaos energy and that will attack whatever he wishes them to.
It is rumored by some fans that he was the original guardian of the Master Emerald, and that when the Hidden Palace Zone was scrapped from Sonic 2, the role was given to a new character, Knuckles. However, the majority of the community feels this theory is false, since its main evidence (the Tails 1-up monitor and the Master Emerald-like object in Hidden Palace) are based on a never-finished level in a build of Sonic 2 that was very early and glitchy. The zone artist for Sonic 2, Craig Stitt, said that the emerald was merely an object for the player's character to break through. [1] However, it is noted that it is highly unusual to use a solid object with no other function (derived from the solid pink block in Sonic 1's Green Hill Zone) when a breakable block like those in Chemical Plant Zone or Hill Top Zone is available for use. [2] But since the Zone was left almost completely untouched since its inclusion in the very early Nick Arcade prototype it's likely the solidness of the object was meant to be rectified but wasn't due to neglect.

| Metal Sonic |
| First Seen: Sonic the Hedgehog CD (1993) |
| Biography |
|
The original Metal Sonic was a robot created by Doctor Eggman (aka Doctor Ivo Robotnik) in order to kidnap Amy Rose and lure Sonic into a trap. He debuted in Sonic CD, and was destroyed or damaged during a race with Sonic in Stardust Speedway Zone. Metal Sonic has appeared in Sonic Triple Trouble, Knuckles' Chaotix, Sonic R, Sonic the Fighters, Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2.
He also featured as an important character in Sonic Heroes. In Sonic Heroes, Metal Sonic kidnapped his creator to lure Sonic & Co. into a trap to show he was finally more powerful than Sonic. An upgraded Metal Sonic, called Metal Sonic 3.0 appears in Sonic Rivals 2. He attacks and is defeated but not destroyed. He has a similar appearence to the original Metal Sonic, but has a black and yellow color scheme.
The robot in Sky Sanctuary Zone (Sonic & Knuckles) could be called Metal Sonic, but as he has a different design, is more commonly referred to as Mecha Sonic.
In Sonic the Comic, Metal Sonic was known as Metallix.
In the Sonic the Hedgehog anime Metal Sonic is featured but under the name of Hyper Metal Sonic.
Contents[hide] |
Prior to Sonic Heroes, Metal Sonic just seems to be a mindless servant to Doctor Eggman. However, it is revealed in Sonic Heroes that he does have an intellect of his own, and is aggressive, dominating, ruthless and power hungry. He was once under Eggman's complete control, but in Sonic Heroes he betrayed his creator, (the same thing that E-123 Omega and E-102 Gamma did) and took the task of trying to achieve world domination into his own metallic hands.
Metal Sonic is absolutely determined to defeat his namesake, Sonic the Hedgehog. Some of his quotes from Sonic Heroes suggest that Metal Sonic may actually believe that he is in fact the true Sonic, and that Sonic is his copy, such as when he says "Long time no see, Sonic, my loathsome copy..." and "I am the ultimate overlord, Metal Sonic! I am the REAL Sonic!". However, in the final battle, he also says "I was created for the sole purpose of destroying you". This creates a mental paradox: If Metal Sonic truly believes himself to be the original Sonic, yet he also believes that he was created for the purpose of destroying Sonic, then he could probably be considered insane. Another possibility is that he believes himself to have been created first, as a precaution to the real Sonic's existence. More likely, however, is that these quotes suggest that his goal is to defeat Sonic and thus become the "true" (only living) Sonic by doing so. Also during this final battle, Metal Sonic reveals a tormented side to his personality, explaining that when he could not even succeed in what he was designed to do (defeat Sonic) he was left with no purpose.

Wave the Swallow is the purple swallow who serves as Tails' counterpart in Sonic Riders. She is the only female on the team and she looks somewhat like Rouge. She is a 'mechanical genius' and is more advanced in Extreme Gear mechanics than Tails and Dr. Eggman. She has excellent riding skills as her father was once a mechanic and airboarder for the previous generation of the Babylon Rogues. Her board is purple and goes by the Type W, excelling in air time. Wave is voiced by Bella Hudson, who is also the voice actor for Maria and Blaze the Cat.

| Vector |
| First Seen: Knuckles' Chaotix (1995) |
| Biography |
|
Vector the Crocodile is the leader of Team Chaotix in the games since Sonic Heroes, and in Sonic the Comic. He is 20 years of age and wears a set of headphones as his trademark. He's 5'11" tall, and weighs 440 lbs. He has a rough demeanor, and at times he is even downright rude, but deep down he's actually quite a kind soul, and has been known to occasionally help people for charity, as stated in the Sonic Heroes manual. He is a skillful detective and the 'power' member of the Chaotix Detective Agency. He indeed possesses great strength (though not as great as that of Mighty or Knuckles) and (in Sonic Heroes) has shown some evidences of being able to breath out fire from his mouth. Although his loud, brash attitude might make him appear otherwise, Vector is in fact very intelligent, and while not a genius on the level of say, Tails, he is nonetheless a very clever and capable leader. Besides money, Vector's main joys in life are music, food and sports drinks.
Vector was originally slated to be one of the characters in the scrapped Sonic the Hedgehog sound test, and is thus among the oldest of the Sonic characters alongside Sonic himself and Eggman. His first game appearance was in Knuckles' Chaotix. He also appeared in Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog.
In the Archie comics, Vector is a punk who likes having things his way and listening to loud music. He also somewhat dislikes Knuckles' girlfriend Julie-Su in the past issues. In the Sonic the Comic, he is the intelligent leader of the Chaotix crew and a close friend to the Omni-Viewer. In Sonic X, Vector reads way too many detective magazines, and also has a strong conviction for settling favors. When Tails has to repair the Chaotix's ship, Vector decides to help him get involved with Cosmo, a girl that Tails likes. He also appears to have a crush on Cream's mother, Vanilla the Rabbit.
Vector's appearance has changed a bit since Knuckles' Chaotix. In Chaotix, Vector seemed slightly taller and was much skinnier. However, in his newer appearances, he seems a tad shorter and definitely more muscular.
In Sonic Heroes, Vector was voiced by Marc Biagi. As of Shadow the Hedgehog, Biagi was replaced by Carter Cathcart. In Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, Cathcart was replaced by Dan Green, who notably also voices Knuckles the Echidna. In Sonic X, Vector was voiced by Jimmy Zoppi. In Japanese, in all media, Vector is voiced by Kenta Miyake.

| Cream |
| First Seen: Sonic Mega Collection (2002\) |
| Biography |
|
Cream the Rabbit (Japanese:クリーム) is a six year old rabbit from who can fly with her ears (although she can't fly as high as her friend Tails can, she can fly a greater distance).
Cream is a polite girl, and the 6 year old daughter of Vanilla the Rabbit. She was introduced to the world in the artwork section of Sonic Mega Collection. She finally made her playable debut in Sonic Advance 2 for the Game Boy Advance, when she gets kidnapped by Doctor Eggman. Sonic rescues her and she becomes playable, using her ears to fly and her friend Cheese as a method of attack. Later, Vanilla gets kidnapped by Eggman, but is rescued by Super Sonic. Cream is seen as a cameo in Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut for the Nintendo GameCube after playing the Casinopolis level (She is flying through the sky, apparently dropping the ice key that appears at that point in the game).
She is part of Team Rose (acting as their flight member) for beginners' gameplay in Sonic Heroes, a multi-platform release featuring 12 characters in 4 sets to play. The trio are set to find Cheese's brother, Chocola, a brown Chao (as well as Big the Cat's friend, Froggy). In the game, she can only use Cheese to attack when the other two team members are incapacitated.
She appeared in Sonic Rush, as Blaze the Cat's partner. She met Blaze after the Night Carnival, and invited Blaze over to her house for tea. Later, Cream is captured by Dr. Eggman, and Blaze goes to rescue her. Once Eggman is defeated, Cream is rescued by Blaze, and both return to Sonic and Tails.
Cream has also appeared in Sonic Battle, Sonic Advance 3 and Sonic X.
In Sonic Battle, Cream develops a bond with Emerl. She teaches him about sadness and pain, but also teaches him about reliability, shown when Cream protects Emerl from Eggman's Guard Robos when Emerl wouldn't fight them. Cream has the hardest time (aside from possibly Sonic) with Emerl's death at the game's end, although he and Tails are assured by Sonic that Emerl will continue to be with them through the Chaos Emeralds.
In Sonic Advance 3, Cream simply gets lost in Cyber Track Zone and waits for Sonic to pick her up. She interestingly makes no note of Gemerl's similarities to Emerl. She is also partially responsible for Gemerl's re-programming and repairing in the end. Gemerl is reprogrammed to act exactly like Emerl. A Sonic X DVD case recreates this scene with using Emerl instead of Gemerl.
Cosmo is a plant-like character who first made her appearance in episode 53 of the cartoon Sonic X. Her home world was apparently destroyed by the Metarex, who planted a tracking device on her. She appears to have a role similar to Cream the Rabbit's, always getting captured and used as a shield by Dr. Eggman.
During her time with Sonic's group, she develops feelings for Tails, who in turn returns the feelings. Vector even went so far as to try and set them up.
Shadow and Rouge discover that Cosmo is unknowingly working for the Metarex. Shadow then boards the Blue Typhoon in order to kill her and knocks down anyone that stands in his way. Tails stands up against him to defend Cosmo.
In episode 77, she transforms into a "super state" using the red amulet on her chest that was left to her by her mother Hertia. She goes to help Super Sonic and Super Shadow who are in the middle of battling Dark Oak. She is able to immobilize him and tells Tails to shoot him with the Sonic Driver. Doing this would also kill Cosmo. Of course Tails refuses to do so not wanting to harm Cosmo. But she eventually convinces him. She is killed along with Dark Oak; though the English version never states that she died and said that "She went to live with her mother".
Because she shows affection for Tails, she is heavily bashed by supporters of the coupling Tails x Cream. Some even go as far as to say that she "stole" Tails from Cream; even though the two have never showed feelings for each other. Some Tails fans don't like her because she supposedly "warped" Tails' personality.
