Information for Attendees
This page consists of information helpful for those who plan on attending the Men's Overnight Bible Study. Please consider it before the weekend begins. Thanks!
General Information
- Friday night will begin with check in between 5pm and 6pm. Please make it on time if you are able; if you are not, that's understandable; come whenever you can!
- A welcome session, singing, snacks, a campfire, and some free time will follow this.
- Saturday morning's schedule will include breakfast, singing, Bible study session one, Bible study session two, and then lunch.
- Saturday afternoon's schedule will include Bible study session three, some singing, and a closing session. There is no evening meal on Saturday.
- Some of us are planning on getting together for an optional softball game afterwards. Bring your equipment if you're interested!
What to Bring
We will have cabin facilities at Camp Shaw-waw-nas-see; we suggest that you bring the following items with you:
- Sleeping bag and pillow (a bunk bed is provided)
- Lightweight folding or lawn chair (Due to the nature of the camp, quality seating is limited in many areas!)
- Toiletries and a towel
- Bible, paper, and pen (Outlines are generally provided by the Bible study leader, but not necessarily)
- Rain gear and Umbrella
- Flashlight
- Insect Repellent
- Board games (for Friday night free time)
- Change of clothes for basketball (during Friday night free time)
- Softball equipment (if you intend to stay to play on Saturday afternoon)
Although Saturday breakfast and lunch are supplied, we are also asking everyone to bring some snacks and drinks to share on Friday evening.
Thanks!
