We are currently looking for craft booth vendors, entertainment and individuals who are interested in participating in the BBQ cook off. You can download a craft application booth here: craft_booth_app[1].doc
We plan to have 8 to 10 hot air balloons. The balloons will fly weather permitting in the evening between 5 pm and 8 pm; in the mornings before dawn at around 6:30 am. If the wind prevents the balloons from flying we will do a balloon glow on Friday evening.
We have several balloon sponsorships and would like to thank them for their support. We would like to give special thanks to the following sponsors: REGIONS BANK, S & S BUTANE, BILL'S HEATING AND COOLING AND SOUTH 107. One balloon will be tethered and will be giving rides to the general public. The balloon will rise about 20 to 30 feet in the air. We will post the cost of the ride as soon as we have it finalized.
South 107 will have a live remote on Friday evening between 5 and 7 pm.
On Saturday we will have a Gospel group perform at 11:00 am, an Acoustic Pop group, Blue Grass music and then Buck and Duke are scheduled to perform between 3:30 pm and 6:00 pm.
We will also have a Choo-Choo train that will operate. There will be a small charge to ride the train.
We will announce updates for the festival as they become available.
We look forward to seeing everyone there.
We plan to have a softball tournament during the festival. The tournament will be for 12u and 14u age groups. The cost of the tournament will be $25.00. It will be a single elimination tournament. We plan to play on Friday evening, May 16th and on Saturday, May 17th. We will only play on Sunday if necessary.
