Memphis Elite Boxing Academy

 

We are a newly founded amateur boxing team in the great city of Memphis, Tennessee; dedicated to making champions in life first and the ring second.  We train at the Memphis Police Boxing Gym located at 315 S. Hollywood St. at the Mid-south Fairgrounds behind the CHILDREN'S MUSEUM OF MEMPHIS.

We only have one competetive boxing gym in the city of Memphis, which has a population of over 600,000 people and a crime rate that ranks among the highest in the nation.  Our city constantly recieves negative media attention.  Memphis Elite Boxing Academy hopes to bring some positive media attention to our great city.

 Noting that the crime is outrageous and  the inner-city youth are lacking extracirricular activities to detract them from the influence of drugs, gangs, and crime.  Boxing saved many lives, then boxing could do the same for the youth of Memphis.
