How the Ken Burns effect got us started:

Ken Burns-the famous writer, producer and editor of such classic documentaries as, Jazz and Baseball, started the process. His ability to use Pan & Zoom effects to their utmost capabilites brought once static historic images to life.
Dad & I first became aware of his work, when we saw Jazz. It was a curiosty at first, but we really got excited when we saw his documentary on the Civil War. His expertise in seeming to make historic images move around, enthralled us. His work became the catalyst for our own adventure into video editing.

What we do:

We produce a similar product, using the same technology. But instead of a documentary, we use it to make high quality DVD movies using your still or digital images. Although video clips are also used, we try to stick with the original print and still photographic method that Ken Burns has made famous.

The Process:

You send us a Photo CD containing your still photographs or digital images. Due to copyright issues, if you also include a legally purchased CD of music, we can use that for your Background music selections. If you don't have any music, I have limited number of instrumentals I can add to your video.

Your images will be copied onto our computers. (Your originals will never be altered). If necessary some images may require slight adjustments such as color, brightness or resizing. These will then be imported into our video editor. Photographs will be placed according a chronological order of your choosing. The fun part is next.

All videos come with the following: 

Titles, Sub-titles, beginning and ending credits, professional transistions between images or series of images, & background music.

Depending on the price range you have selected their are a host of other options:

Sound FX, Text FX, Voiceovers, borders, frames, still photo animation, Professional credits, etc.

Online Preview:

An online preview of your video is available through YouTube. You may make changes after this initial edit. To preview your video on YouTube, you must have the following setup; Windows 2000 or higher, Macromeda Flash Player 7.0+ and a Broadband connection 500bps+.

What do I get?

Depending on the price selected,  you will receive one or more HQ DVD's in a clear plastic jewel case, with a colored picture of your choice on the package. (S&H Extra).
