Welcome to the greater Universe, Human. Because you are probably wondering what this is all about, allow us to explain. As you are aware, the Universe is a vast expanse of what seems like empty space dotted sparsely with stars and planets. In this, you are correct. However, we of the Saron Empire feel it is time that you learn the truth and the gravity of the situation that the Universe is in.
Armageddon is already here. The forces of Heaven and Hell have been battling for supremacy of the middle ground that we all call our Universal home for thousands of years. While the human race has not been caught up in it yet, the war wages ever closer and it is only a matter of time. We are the Saron Empire, the entity that has protected what remains of your race for ten thousand years. With our allies, we fight to maintain balance in the Universe against the Ranastaag, our ancient brethren that fell to the greed and power of Hell. Interested yet? We thought so. This site is maintained to allow you to learn of us, the Universe, what's going on, and much about yourselves.
Due to an influx of "what's new?" emails we have decided to add a latest updates area, maybe it'll be a page, who knows. Stop asking for new stuff, I'll get it up when I'll get it up...that sounded dirty.

This site is dedicated to keeping an updated status on what we hope will one day become the next great saga of our time. There will be short stories, timelines, and misc. info about the Saron Universe updated (hopefully) once a week. If you have any questions we will happily answer them through e-mails. We hope you will look around and enjoy the inner workings of our imagination and that you will return regularly to see more as the site grows. Hopefully in the near future we will have our own domain so we are not limited by bandwidth, ads, and freeware site builders.
We are currently creating many additions that will be site updates later. We are also in the process of upgrading the site to its own domain. Please bear with us while we strive to improve upon the solid base that we have forged thus far. When we are done, it is likely that the following will be available:

several new short stories and an accessible archive to all the old ones
a more organized news archive
stuff we probably haven't even thought of yet
