The Great House Telvanni is a guild of wizards and magic folk. They major in skills like Illusion, Conjuration, Mysticism, Destruction, etc. Many of the missions that you recieve from the Telvanni guild, are either extra-ordinarily simple, or very complex or difficult.
The great thing about the Great House Telvanni, is that after you have completed many of the missions, you we be taught new spells. Some of the spells that you will learn are; Blind, Calm Humanoid, Calm Creature, Cure Common Disease, Mark, Recall.
The other great thing about this house, is that once you become a high enough rank, you will recieve your own stronghold! Goodies! And on the plus side, no matter how many times you screw up (like stealing or killing a telvanni,) they will always let you back in!

Many of these missions involve retrieve or giving items for/to certain people. Sometimes the reward can be a lame rip off, but it all pays off in the end.

1. Go to Sadrith Mora
2. Go to the west most building there. It should be labbled 
3.Go to the very bottom of the building. You will know that you are there if you end up in a huge cavern
4. Ask the only person in the cave to join the Telvanni's.
Simple as that

For one of the Mouth's you must collect 5 portions of muck. You can either go and find muck sponge yourslef, or simply go to the alchemist in town and buy it. Extreamly easy

Now for the Telvanni's, you must collect five Sload Soaps. Sload Soap is realatively expensive for the average Morrowind player, 50 septiums a peice. A mouth will give you some money to pay for it, but it is not nearly enough, so if you dont have extra money, dont go for this quest.
This is a very simple and easy mission, it just involves you going to the Alchemist, (again) and buying it. Oh, and while you are there, you might want to pick up 5 portions of muck, if you haven't already.

Before you become a Mouth of the Telvanni house, you must first get a patron for youself. Talk to one of the Mouths in the council chamber about it, and he will recomend that his patron should become yours. His patron is Master Aryon, of Tel Vos. Take a boat from Sadrith Mora to Tel Mora, and from there take another boat to Vos. Once in Vos, go past the tradehouse and the farmers villiage, and into the fort, which is overgrown (see "special Info, Tel Vos") Walk as high as you can go, and from the top of that tallest tower, there should be a door that leads to a overhang. Once from this overhang, take an almightly leap over to the small door on the other side. This is Master Aryons chambers. Find him, and ask him about beingn a patron. He says he will, on the fact that you do one thing for him. You must go back to Gnisis, and convince the man in the bizare tower  (you will get the exact name) to join the Telvanni's. Go to Gnisis, and head to the top of that tower. If you can not get in because the door is locked, go to one of the bedrooms, and look on one of the bedside tables, there should be a summoning room key. Well, once you go to the top of the tower to that person, he says that he will join if you get him three books. He will explain where to get all of these books, and you must spend another half an hour to find those. Once you do, he decides to join the house, and you must then go back to Aryon. He will the be your patron, and you will automatically become a Mouth of the Great House Telvanni!
