In 2006 I had the most delightful experience of my entire and that was to see the most beautiful and sweet natured female i have ever met! To all those evil gossip columnists who have since long gone because the bitter ones burn out, Ms Tkautz is an Austrlian pop culture MEGASTAR as far as this gorgeous and FANBLOODYTABULUS COUNTRY HAS TO OFFER! As you can, i do have a slight connection with her, I am a gay man, happily married to my partner of many years and people often wonder why BERAL? WHY MELISSA! I say cause she makes me happy, its as simple as that. The last 2 weeks of my life have been the most stressful ever but in this website i'd like to publicly announce that through Melissa's tender and sweet but tough girl attitude got me through high school ( i left at 14 to get away from the abuse from school bullies) I'd listen to Mel on my WALKMAN to school, in the car, at home, dancing with my baby sister Ashleigh who had just been born and its as simple as that, her persona on screen and in the TrashMags made me excited every fortnight when SMASH HITS came out, ( i do hope every one of her covers is out there!) GOD LOVE SMASH HITS, please more OZ content, glossier colourful shoots and less structure, get an oblong screen and move things around while multitasking. This show deserves an 8.30/9.30 time slot but will be slotted up to replace Mcleods Daughters in a few i think if someone takes it out of my little hands, i am merely somone who experienced an early realization that i was QUEER!,CAMP,HAPPY,UPBEAT,SOMETIMESD MANIC and slightly insane friend to some but a could aly if u cross me! This is site dedicated to my favourite Australian entertainer Melissa Tkautz.

Melissa was born on the on the 24th of January 1974. She has an older sister. Her father has since passed away.

Melissa has appeared on numerous television drama's, made 100's of commercial's, done alot of modelling and released some great dance songs! In this site I will endeavour to write how I feel about Melissa and offer some facts and gorgeous pictures of her for you to see!

Melissa first came to my attention when she joined the Channel 10 soapie E-street in late 1990. It wasn't until 1991 when she released the single Read My Lips that I was fully engulfed by her aura and talent. In her role on E-street, Mel played Nikki Spencer who joins Westside with her little brother Zac. They live with Martha who is Nikki's aunt and George because they're mother had up and left them. Nikki was street wise, and spoke before she thought and put alot of the residents off side in E-streets suburb of Westside before becoming part of the gang where she went out with the popular male characters of the cast CJ and Max. She stayed in the show for over year then left for a year and returned to the show in late 1992 just before it was axed in early 1993.

She had previously appeared before E-street in Richmond Hill, Police Rescue and the childrens drama The Girl from Tomorrow playing bitchy Maria.

Melissa then went on to have guest roles in Paradise Beach  during the 1993 series while doing corporate video work. She also appeared in  the short lived channel 10 soapie Echo Point in 1995 before landing the role of  young model Bethany Daniels in the Channel 9 late night soapie Pacific Drive. This was Melissa's first adult role and tackled many issues head on in the show. Her character aquired hiv and it was the first time on Australian television that an ongoing character had hiv. Melissa was very brave in her acting and showed real tenderness and caring in many aspects of the characters portrayal of someone living with the illness as far as soaps go.

Pacific Drive was axed in mid 1997 but wasn't shown in its entirety until the end of 2000. A typical channel 9 bungle in programming.

She then went onto to star in Medivac as nurse Evie Morrison before that too was axed! She displayed yet again a real tenderness in this role and there was one scene in which she plays opposite Garry Mcdonalds character and helps him come to terms with dying. It was a very moving scene.

Melissa has also appeared on All Saints and Pizza since then. She also was regular panelist on the hit Foxtel/Channel 10 show Beauty and the Beast. She also starred in a film that was never released to my knowledge called The Game Room.
