Born on Earth December 2nd 2368, in a Moscow hospital he was born into a proud and distinguished Federation family. Vladymir was schooled for the majority of his early childhood for his future as an Officer in the Federation, during his early studies and examinations it was found that he possessed a sound tactical ability to outmanoeuvre and outthink his fellow classmates in general classroom activities, this ability was nurtured in him throughout his childhood until it came to fruition just prior to him turning 18. At this age he graduated Boarding School and applied for entry into StarFleet Academy. His Application approved he moved to San Francisco to complete his studies.
Within one year of commencement his professors noted his ability to learn quickly and accurately. As per his fathers wishes, Vladymir focused his studies in the Security and Tactical areas, achieving high results in both subject areas. He graduated with honours from the Academy, ranked 26/456, and transferred to the United Federation Marine Corp, here he under went further training in the Field of covert operations and frontline warfare, becoming expert at such activities.

His first active duty was seen during the Borg Incursion where he formed part of a covert operations team tasked with locating and destroying a Borg forward operations base. The mission was a success and Borg's planned invasion of Earth was delayed long enough for a defence to be organised. His other missions involved several counter-intelligence missions as well as three rescue operations. The Details of such remain confidential (SI PROTOCOL 215487).

Vladymir was affianced, as per tradition, to a class mate from his youth, Anita Flanaror. It was love at first sight for both and were quickly married. Following a short honeymoon the couple arranged for Anita, a Starfleet Medical Officer, to be transferred to SB12 where Vladymir was stationed. Ensign Creed was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade for exceptional service to the Federation during the Borg Campaign, and transferred back to Star Fleet, receiving a posting as Security/Tactical Officer onboard the USS Ticonderoga NCC-45217, he was forced to leave his wife Anita, bearing the couples first child, on SB12.
On the Ticonderoga he continued to improve on his record of exceptional service, performing all of his duties to the best of his ability, and adapting fast to life onboard ship. However a personal tragedy, specifically the death of his wife and unborn child during a Romulan attack on SB12, triggered a fit of rage during which Mr. Creed struck the Commander of the Ticonderoga, disciplinary action was taken, demoting Mr. Creed to Ensign and removing him from active duty pending a psychic evaluation. However no further action was taken after investigations revealed that the Commander had tastelessly provoked the attack by criticising Mr. Creed's deceased family.
Mr. Creed under went extensive counselling sessions to try and move on from the deaths of his family, eventually making some headway a year later he was placed back on active duty and worked hard to mend the damage to his career.
During an away mission to a planet just on the Romulan Neutral Zone, the team, of which Mr. Creed was a member, was captured and held prisoner by Romulan forces. After a terrible period of incarceration Mr. Creed was able to bring about the escape of his fellow team members, however in his efforts to ensure all the team was able to escape he was recaptured enduring torture sessions and solitary confinement before attempting to escape once more, this time he was successful and upon his return to the Federation was awarded the Legion of Honour, for exceptional bravery and self sacrifice beyond the call of duty, and was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade.
He continued to serve onboard the USS Ticonderoga before he was posted to the USS Andromeda NCC-81443 as Assistant Chief Tactical Officer.
