Hello, and welcome to my Meg & Dia fan site. My name is Jade. This is a site for any and all Meg & Dia fans. Anyway, here's a little background on me. I'm 19 and was born in Southern Utah (which is part of why I'm such a huge fan of Meg & Dia since they are also from Utah). I now live in Southern California where I'm attending Biola University. Anyway, enough about me, on to the purpose of this site. I'm creating this site due to the fact that I love the band Meg & Dia. They are from Utah as I mentioned, and they have amazing music (as you can get a preview of here on the home page. I'll have a new song every week). I hope that this site will be very informational, as well as fun and interesting to all fans of Meg & Dia. Please keep in mind however, I do have a busy schedule with work and college.

Hey guys. Just wanted to let you all know how I'm coming with updates. I have the new layout up and running on all of the pages now, and I have the Tour Dates page up to date. Also, through updating the layout, I noticed that I had never posted the lyrics for "Roses". I now have those up and ready to go. I am still working on watermarking my pics, but I'll get those up as soon as possible. I am also in the final developing stages of the Message Boards. If you have any last minute suggestions for that, please e-mail me, and your suggestions will be considered. Also, within the next week, I'd like to say, I'll have a Fan Mail page up. I'll tell you all more about that when it arrives. So yeah, new developments are coming rapidly, so keep your eyes open for those, and make sure all your fellow Meg & Dia fans know about the site. Hey guys, just wanted to let you know of a few recent updates to the site. I have the new layout up and running on most of the pages. I still need to get the Lyrics pages updated, but all the main pages are updated. Let me know what you think ok? I'd love to hear your feedback. Also, the Tour Dates page is now up to date for all the upcoming shows, so check that out to see when they'll be playing near you. Also, I am in the works of bringing a forum to the site, as well as a fan mail page, and a couple other things, so keep checking back for those. I will also be developing some new downloads seeing as how mine are a bit dated now. And the photo album is in the process of being updated with pics from the Chain Reaction show Jan 20, and Warped Tour in Pomona, June 29 (or 30, I forget the date). Also, soon, I will be posting an application for mods for the site. Again, as I mentioned before, I prefer it is somebody who I actually KNOW, but depending on circumstances, I may make an exception. Also, if you do design work, and would like to contribute anything to the Downloads section, that would be totally awesome, just e-mail me a sample or something and we can talk. Hey guys. WOW!!! Over 10,000 hits, that is amazing. I can't believe that this site has only been running a little over a year, and already we're that high on hits. That is literally astounding. Thank you to everyone who has visited and supported this site, and even more everyone who supports the band. Ok, so seeing as how I haven't updated in a few months, I definitely have some updates, and announcements to make.

First off, Warped Tour was amazing. I went to the first show of Warped in Pomona, CA this year, and it was totally awesome. There were so many amazing bands playing this year, and of course, Meg & Dia was at the top of that list. This year, they had a full on stage which was amazing. I'll have to check my pics to see if it was Smartpunk or Hurley, it's been so long I don't remember for sure. They also did a signing at the Energizer booth at every show, which was really cool. It was awesome getting to meet and talk with some other fans. I got lots of really cool pics too.

Secondly, yes, I know, I still need to get pics updated. I have a bunch of pics from the show Jan 20, at Chain Reaction, and also, obviously, pics from Warped Tour. I promise, I'll get those up as soon as possible. I have a lot of pics, so it might take me a bit to get them watermarked, and uploaded, but it will happen, I promise.

Thirdly, I want to let everyone know, that within the next month, I am planning to get a forum started up on here. No, it will not be anything official, and it will be highly unlikely that the band will actually post because they are extremely busy, but it will be a really cool little fan forum where you can all hang out, mingle, and just chat about the most amazing band ever, Meg & Dia. It shouldn't take long to set up, it's just a matter of actually finding the time to just do it with school, work, internship, and all that joyful busyness.

Fourthly, and probably lastly, unless I think of something else while typing this, I do have a lot of updates to make on pages in here. The Tour Dates page, News and Updates, will both be updated very soon. There are a few new tours Meg & Dia are going to be on in the next few months, so that's totally exciting. Sadly no shows out here in California though, so you guys will have to send me some pics to add on here, ok?

Oh yes, lastly I do have one more announcement. With my crazy schedule, I really do need help keeping this site up to date, and with the upcoming forum, I'm going to need mods. So, if you would be interested in doing this, I will have an application up within a couple months. Primarily I do want people who I already know, just for security purposes, because it would involve exchange of information, so I'm sorry if you don't get picked. Also, I want you to at least be somebody who I know of as a hardcore Meg & Dia fan, who will be dedicated to helping keep this site up, running, and the best it can possibly be, because this is and always will be, the "Top fansite for the band".

Hey everybody. Hope you all had a great 4th of July yesterday. Sorry it's been so long since I've updated. I've been going crazy with everything, and have had dialup Internet for the longest time. Finally I have cable Internet though, so I should be able to get some updates going. I have already updated the News and Updates page, and also the Tour Dates. I'll get some pics uploaded hopefully within the next week. I have a bunch of pics from the tour with Daphne Loves Derby back in January, and also some from Warped Tour in Pomona last Friday. Hey everybody. Just wanted to let you all know that I finally got all my pics up from the concert at the Alley, in Fullerton, CA on Sept 19 uploaded and added to the photo album. Hope you all enjoy them. Sadly I wasn't able to get very many pics of Kenji, and this was the last time I'll see him with Meg & Dia. At least I got a pic taken of me and him together, that's cool. Hey everyone!! I am SO SO SO sorry it's been so long since I've updated on here. I've been SO busy with school and work and everything. Seems like I never have time to just sit down and update my site these days. And then on Sundays, my typical update day, I always seem to be behind on my homework, so I still don't have time!! Well, I'm back! Thank you to everyone who has still been frquenting my site even though I've been gone. Ok, so here are my updates.

First off, a couple weeks ago, I got my Downloads page fixed so it looks decent. Sorry it was screwed up for so long. The joys of technology huh? So yeah, that's taken care of, and I'll try and start working on making some new designs, including one for Aaron, and a tribute to Kenji.

Speaking of Kenji, sadly, he has left the band, and is pursuing his own solo career. I have more about this in the News and Updates section.

Also, the new song up is Tell Mary. I hope you all enjoy it. I'm really into that song right now. For those who haven't seen it yet, Albert made an amazingly awesome video for this song that is up on Youtube. Here is the link to the video. To view it, click here.

Oh yeah, I finally got the lyrics for Setting Up Sunday. The song is now updated on the discography page. From what I've heard, you're all liking the song lyrics.

Lastly, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am working on making a FAQ page for the band, because there are a lot of questions that get asked very frequently, so I thought it would be useful to have all the answers in one place for your reference.

Hey everyone. Sorry I missed last weeks update, it's been a pretty crazy week. Ok, so I've got the new song up. Thanks to everyone who's been voting the past two weeks, your votes have been heard, and "Roses" is the song of the week for 9/24-9/30.

Also, I'm working on getting all my pictures from Meg & Dia's concert at the Alley on Tuesday night uploaded, so I'm hoping to get those up by the end of today, but I don't know for sure. Keep an eye open for those.

Hey everyone. I am SO sorry I got behind again. Everything has been totally crazy lately. I do have a bunch of new stuff though. The song you all voted for for this week will actually be up next week since I got behind. Also, I have updated the guestbook. Thank you freewebs for making it customizable finally!!! So now all the pages have a background pic, YAY!!! Ok, and I went to Meg & Dia's concert in Fullerton, CA Tuesday night. It was SO awesome! I took a ton of pics too. Hey guys, sorry I got so far behind. I can't believe it's been two weeks since I've updated anything. It's been so crazy lately with school and work and everything.

Ok, so this week's song is Cardigan Weather. I know many of you love the song, so I hope you enjoy it. I'm going to put up a new poll within a day or so, so that all of you can vote for what song you want up for next week.

Ok, so Meg & Dia's time on MTVU went very well indeed!!! Thanks to the dedication of all their fans, they came out #1 and are getting their vid into regular MTV rotation! Congratulations guys!!! There hasn't been any word yet on the winners of the contest, but that should be out soon. Keep an eye out for e-mails from Doghouse Records to find out more about that.

Thank you Conway, for posting in the guestbook about the Doghouse Records Podcast! I had heard about the podcast, but I haven't had time to listen to it yet, so I didn't know that Meg & Dia were in it! That's SO awesome!

As some of you have noticed, I added a new page to the site. I figured that perhaps you might like to get to know the college student behind the scenes of this site, or at least have a few ways to contact me with any questions of comments you might have, so I added in a Contact Me page with all that info on it.

For those of you who are wondering, yes, I am still working on getting that contest up and running, I've just been really busy as I mentioned, so I'm still trying to get the prize finished up. Give me a couple more weeks, and I think I can get it going, I hope.

Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't really had any updates going lately. I've been pretty busy getting ready for school to start up again.

Ok, so the new song for the week is "Getaways Turned Holidays". It's one of my personal favs and I hope you all like it as well.

Well, I guess it's been about long enough on the poll for the background image. Well, the poll came out a victory for the new background, with a result of 6-2 in votes. Thank you everyone for your votes! I'm glad to get your input. I really do want to make this site as userfriendly as possible, which means I need YOUR help to make this site. So, as of today, all the pages of the site will now be changed to the new background taken from the amazingly awesome music video for the song "Monster".

Also, Tour Dates are finally updated. Sorry I took so long to get that going again. So check that page out to see when the band will be playing in a city near you.

Also, I'm still working on getting a contest up and running. It will actually be altered from the original intent however due to the fact that Meg & Dia will be on The Freshmen, on MTVU during the week of the 28th, so the voting will actually be on there rather than on TRL. Keep checking back, I should have the contest running within a few days I hope.

Lastly, I don't remember if I mentioned this already, but the song lyrics for Meg & Dia's album "Something Real" are now up. I'm still looking for Setting Up Sunday though. I found one version, but it was the old lyrics. I'll try and get that up soon.

Hey everyone! I only have a couple updates for today. First off, I've got this weeks new song up and running. I decided to put up "Nineteen Stars" off Meg & Dia's album, "Something Real". Hope you all like it.

Secondly, I'll have the contest thing up and running soon. I just need to tie up a couple loose ends and it'll all be put together, so just keep checking back, and I'll have it up soon.

Thirdly, thank you everyone for your input about the background image. I hope everyone will please vote to make your voice heard. I'll keep the poll up probably one or two more weeks then I'll take it off and change the background to whichever one has the most votes.

Fourth off, I'm still working on getting more backgrounds and banners made, so please be patient. Sorry it's taking so long to get new stuff up, it's been a really busy week. I'll try and get some stuff up and running this next week.

Lastly, I'll also try and get the rest of the song lyrics up this week, so keep checking back for that.

Alright!!! Thanks to Freewebs finally making a transparent layout, the site has a nice new feel to it. I hope you guys all like the new layout and color. Personally I think it gives it a much more complete feel. Fortunately it doesn't change things up TOO much either, so there isn't a bunch of newness to get used to. Also, don't forget to keep voting on the poll for which background you prefer. Don't let the new color scheme of the site alter your choice either please, I can change the color so either one looks good. Just go by which one you prefer as the background of the site. Holy cow everyone! So many new updates just within a few days! First off, sorry for all the ads everyone! I've run out of bandwith for the month so now there are ads running on my site in order to sponser the bandwith. Please be patient, as these ads will be removed when the bandwith resets on the 15th. I'll work on getting some more bandwith for my site before it runs out next month.

As you all already know, Meg & Dia's album is now in stores. I have more info on exactly where you can find it on my News and Updates page.

Huge thank you from Kyle at Doghouse Records! He got my site listed on Meg & Dia's official myspace page, and is also working on getting me listed on the OFFICIAL Meg & Dia site! I can't believe it! You rock Kyle! Thanks for helping me out!

I also finally got Meg & Dia's official site listed on my links page. Sorry for the delay on that everybody! I didn't realize I didn't have it up yet. But it's up now, so we're set.

Lastly, I'm going to get a contest up and running soon for people watching TRL on MTV. I'm going to try and make sure that Meg & Dia's video for "Monster" gets up on TRL soon. I'll have more on this contest on a new page within the next few days.

Hey everyone. Sorry I've been slacking off a bit on the updates the past few days. Ok, so the new song of the week is up, and it's the Acoustic version of "Roses". Hope you enjoy it. Also, I've had a couple requests about the background image of the site mentioning that it's hurting people's eyes, so I guess it was a bit too bright. I decided to try this one out for a while, so it's up on the home page, but I'll leave the old one up on the rest of the pages for a week so you can decide which you like better. I'm adding a new poll on so you can submit your opinion about the background image. Also, I have new updates in the News and Updates section for you to check out. Also, yes, I know I am still lacking the lyrics for "What Are You Into" (Bedroom demo), but I'm working on it, and as soon as I'm able to find them, I'll have them posted up for you guys.

Also, huge update for the site! As of Aug 1st I believe it was, this site is now listed on Google and Yahoo! I haven't had a chance to check MSN and AOL's search engines yet, but it's listed on the two main engines, so let's give a big thank you to them for listing me! I'm going to keep working on the site to make sure the listing stays high too, so that means I'll be doing as many updates as possible. Last I checked, I'm currently listed #23 on a search for "Meg & Dia", and #1 for a search for "Meg and Dia fansite". Also along with that, a huge welcome to all of the new visitors who are here through the search engine listings.

Lastly, for those who don't already know, and a reminder for those who do, Tuesday is the release of Meg & Dia's album "Something Real", so if you haven't pre-ordered it yet, you're about out of time! Make sure and get to Tower's site, or Interpunk's site soon to pre-order, it's just the day after tomorrow it comes out! Along with that, all of you who are on the Street Team, you should be getting your packages in the mail tomorrow if you haven't already. I received mine yesterday, so most of them should be out already. I'm not running a promotion contest for the release week, but I think I may run a contest for TRL votes, for Meg & Dia's video for "Monster", so keep an eye open for that.

Ok, this is the update I'm sure you've all been waiting for. New pics in the Photo Album! That's right, thank you to Claudia from Myspace, I now have a bunch of awesome new pics from Warped Tour. These are from the Pomona show (same one I went to) and also a few from the Los Angeles show. So, check them out! She really did get some amazing pics! Hey everyone! Well, today is exactly two weeks before the release of Meg & Dia's debut album "Something Real". I hope all of you have preordered it from Tower Records already, and for those who haven't, I hope you will. It's definitely something to look into. For more info about the pre-order promotion, check out my News and Updates page. Anyway, I have a couple new updates already today. I have four new Meg & Dia Desktop Wallpapers available for download on my Downloads page. Now not only can you have the band on your computer desktop, you can pick your favorite member of the band and have her/him there! I hope you enjoy the new wallpapers. I'm still working on making more wallpapers too, so keep an eye one the Downloads page for those. And keep an eye on the Links page as well, because I'll have some new banners up soon. Hey everyone. I ended up deleting the Welcome page today because I noticed that a lot of people have been just navigating the site from the Navigation Bar on the Welcome page rather than actually visiting the Home page. That means a lot of people were missing my updates, as well as the music I have running on the site. So anyway, you'll notice that you just automatically go to this page now rather than hitting the Welcome Page first. Wow, sorry I took so long into the day to get the updates going. There are quite a few new updates today. First off, there is a new section to the website which I'm sure you'll all enjoy. I now have the downloads page up and running. I currently have 4 desktop backgrounds you can download, as well as 3 buddy icons. Hope you enjoy them all. Also, I now have a poll up and running. I'll probably run it up through the end of the month. I'm running it to get some feedback about what kind of setup everyone has so I can make the site as userfriendly as possible. I've just been setting everything up so it looks good on my computer, but I need to make it satisfactory for everyone's computers. So just take a second and vote on the poll please. It will be very helpful in making this site even better. Also, I shrank the welcome page picture a little bit so it would be better for those who have 800 X 600 resolution computers. Lastly, I know it's a bit late in the day, but there is a new song up on the home page as I'm sure you have already noticed. This week's song is "What Are You Into?" off Meg & Dia's EP. Ok, I've got a new update on the Downloads page. I couldn't decide which version of the 4th Wallpaper was better, so I put it up so you can download them both. Please send me an e-mail to let me know which version you prefer. I'll only have both versions available until the release date of Something Real on August 8th, so get your e-mails in now to make sure the version you want to stay, stays!

Ok, new update. I noticed that the Song Lyrics page was going to get really long if I just kept adding all the songs there on the same page, so now instead of a Song Lyrics page, I have added in a Discography page, which lists out all of Meg & Dia's media releases. And yes, I know Song Lyrics are great to have, SO, from the Discography page you can link to the lyrics by clicking on each song. And each song is on it's own page, so it's much easier to navigate than scrolling through a whole list looking for one song. Hope you like the new setup. Have a great night everyone!

I am still looking for lyrics to "Roses" (Acoustic) from the Itunes release of the EP, as well as "What Are You Into" (bedroom demo). If anyone has those lyrics, please feel free to e-mail with them. Ok, everyone, now it's time for this site to really kick it into high gear. I've upgraded my account to premium, which I'm sure you've already noticed from there no longer being ads and the freewebs toolbar. Also, I now have music (as you can hear) on this page, and I may add songs onto other pages later on. I'll switch this song up probably once a week or every two weeks or something, so keep coming by to catch all the new songs. Also, I can now add a ton more pages and features to the site, which will all be coming within the next week or so I hope. Ok, well I guess they won't all be coming that quickly, but I'll get everything up and running as soon as possible. Don't forget to send me pics if you have any too. I'd love to get some more pictures up on the site. I'll try and get the Song Lyrics page up and running today, and add more links, as well as some banners and buttons so you can add links to me on your sites. Ok everybody, sorry for the mess up with the Photo Album page. It turns out the pics weren't working for anyone except me because I was trying to load them from my computer I guess. They are now uploaded and working perfectly, so check out the new and WORKING Photo Album page soon. Have a great night.

Ok guys, I had to take the Bio page off sadly, because I don't have a lot of definitively reliable info. I've been finding bits and pieces, but not all from fully reliable websites. Anyway, on the up side. I have the News and Updates page up and running with two updates for today. Also, I have the Links page up and running. I only have one site thus far, but I'll get some official sites up soon, and I'm trying to find some other fansites, but I'm not having much luck. If you have a fansite, please send me an e-mail and give me the link to the site so I can check it out and add you. Also, I will send you an e-mail if I add you, and I would really appreciate it if you would add a link to my site if I do add yours. I'm not going to make it a requirement for adding your site, but it would be great if you would. I'm planning to add a Song Lyrics page soon, so keep an eye open for that. I hope you're all enjoying the website thus far. I've been hearing some things that the pics aren't working, so if you could send me an e-mail letting me know yes or no whether the pics are working so I can see what I can do about them if they aren't. Hey everyone. I've got a few updates on the site. I now have the Photo Album up and running, as well as the Tour Dates. I'll get the News and Updates page going tomorrow, and get started on the Bio page. Hope you're all enjoying the site thus far.
