• really nice
• very generous too (she pays for this site after all)
• and patient too *we ask her the same questions over and over*
• She's so witty and clever.
• She gets teens dead on, in her writing and all.
• She's a dedicated writer and yet is still crazy about television. How cool is that? That is so much like me. Gotta love television.
• She actually CARES about her readers, not just when she's got a new book out. (Examples include: her blog (recognises our need for her writing), her advice (how many authors do that? None. Except Meg), this site and about a million other things.)
• She's on our level, not some haughty cow locked in her office.
• She writes about the stuff that really matters to us (PROM).
• She admits that writing is HARD. She doesn't pretend that she can just knock a novel off in a day. It's HARD. She's honest about the whole thing
• She isn't patronising
• She is an incredibly talented writer
• Her characters always seem real, like we could call them up and talk and meet them
• She created this really cool sit
• Shes funnier than you
• She cares about us and gives advice
• She's the only author I know where you can e-mail her and she responds to them
• She explains our questions for her books
• Because the woman is a comical genius!!!
• Her books are so romantic as well as hilarious!!!
• And they aren't soppy!
