How to use dive tables

1, Find your depth on the left side of Table1. Follow the row to the right to find your time spent underwater. If you can't find your exact time, round up to the next higher time column and travel down that column to the bottom of Table1. You should see a large bold number. This is your Group Designation Letter.

2, Find your Group Designation Letter on Table 2. Look left, following your letter category. Then take your surface interval (time out of the water after the dive) and find which two times it falls in between. From that time area, travel down the chart and you will find your new Group Designation Letter.

3, Remember this new letter, you will use it on Table 3 on the next page.
