9th February 2007 - Village Hotel with the Take That tribute band, Back4Good.

18th December 2006 - Congratulations to the A Team on their success in the annual music quiz. They won by just one single point leaving the runners up kicking themselves about Shane McGowan and the Best of Blur and not being allowed Ronan Keating as an answer instead of Boyzone!!! Bitter? Us?

30th April 2006 - Bowling at Hollywood Bowl, Ashton

14th January 2006. Village Hotel, Hyde -  Blues Brothers Tribute Night.

19th December 2005 - The annual Medlock Music Quiz at the Railway Inn, Droylsden was won by a loosely assembled C Team of Julia, Karen, Lisa, Graham and Iain . After lagging behind for much of the contest, an inspired picture round eventually won the day. We hereby officially refute any suggestions that we a) wrote in the answers as Paul was giving them, b) texted an outsider for the answers or c) were tipped off by the C Team member setting the questions. We were just too good

Saturday 29th January 2005  -  Robbie Williams night at the Village, Hyde.

The Christmas "Music" Quiz in the bar at Medlock on Thursday 16th December was won by the A Team who correctly answered their "Question of Sport" questions. The C Team, who answered more music questions correctly were runners-up but moral victors and are not bitter in the slightest. The B Team came a gallant third.
