Adjusting Clinics

Many of the training barns and boarding stables we work with book us at their locations on a regular schedule.  We can examine and treat anywhere from 3-12 horses in one day at your facility (for local facilities; for facilities at a distance, please see the "rates & services" section of our website for applicable guidelines).  This is a great idea for attracting clients to your barn, as well as providing a service to your existing clients, as most will appreciate chiropractic being offered for their horse's benefit and their convenience.  All new clients' horses will receive a thorough chiropractic physical examination and all of your clients will receive a written report of findings at each visit.

Educational Demonstrations

We believe very strongly that most every horse can benefit from chiropractic care.  To show your clients how chiropractic will benefit their horse's overall performance and health, your local facility may book us, at no charge, for an equine chiropractic demonstration.  All that we require is a well-trained "demo" horse and a fairly quiet location and we will provide a 30-60 minute hands-on educational demonstration, including a tack fit segment, self-help stretches and tips, and we will allow sufficient time for questions and answers.

LINKS & RESOURCES

When you make an appointment for us to examine and treat your horse, we provide a case history form so that we can learn as much as possible about your horse:  what your horse's health, treatment, nutritional and physical complaint issues consist of.  Additionally, we have an informed consent sheet that provides information about your horse's treatment and expectations, which we ask you to sign for us.

Whenever possible we prefer that these forms be filled out in advance and either e-mailed or faxed to us prior to your horse's appointment time.  This ensures that we will be able to spend more quality time with your horse during the examination and helps us to understand the issues your horse is having before we arrive.  Please click on the links below to download or print out a copy of these forms for your convenience.

EQUINE CHIROPRACTIC HEALTH FORUM

Occasionally we run into an equine chiropractic health issue that is so important that we feel the desire to reach as many people as possible with valuable information.  Below is just such an issue.  We will update this column on a regular basis and archive the previous information so that we build a useful database of information that will benefit all horse owners.  Dr. Fletcher is a new columnist for the AllExperts online forum, and this is a question that recently came our way.  Please click on the link below to read the topic question and answer:

Your "girthy" horse could be suffering pain, not just behaving badly
