I'm trying to expand my vocabulary. Here are a few oddball terms that I'd like to remember.
aliquot: In mathematics, it is an integer that is a proper divisor of another integer. (Why did we never use this term in my algebra classes?) In chemistry, it is a portion of a total amount of a solution.
afflatus: A divine imparting of knowledge. (When would I ever use this?)
imprimatur: Official permission
