Meanderings

Fans of Jodi Benson, Disney's Ariel ("The Little Mermaid"), doubtlessly know that she served as the host for Guideposts Junction alongside an anthropomorphic reptile named Wally T. Turtle.  Guideposts Junction was a series of Christian childrens videos that were designed to teach values such as friendship, generosity, perseverance, and faith.

Toward the end of the first episode ("Angels, Angels"), the following exchange occurred between Jodi and her reptilian mascot:

	Jodi Benson: “So it’s true what they say.  A turtle’s work is never done.”
	Wally T. Turtle: “That’s funny.  I used to hear the same thing about mermaids.  But I guess you wouldn’t know about that.”
	Jodi Benson: (Chuckling) “Well, only the littlest ones.”
