Day 4: Old San Juan Forts

Outer wall of San Cristobal fort

Inner courtyard wells which used to feed into a cistern. All drinking water was gathered from rains.

Beautiful old weathered walls and wooden doors

The dungeon was near pitch dark inside and oppressively hot. The only light & air came from a sliver of a window. This was in under the fort in a series of defense tunnels.

Dungeon art presumably drawn by a former prisoner
