The band came about when a certain Callum Kaye from Offerton, Stockport decided to practice the Electric Guitar and so others followed, a Ryan Bayes followed and a Richard Nicol taught himself the Bass Guitar. They had come this far and had noticed that they had no drummer and so aquired the talent of Michael Leigh and his Drum, a Paul Burton then took over as Manager of the Band. Soon after the Band had started Callum Kaye decided to name the Band MUSTANG.
