iPhone - Make Your Own Ringtones

 Ive got the ring tone on itunes and i sync it but i cannot find it on my phone

go to the ringtones tab that comes up when you plug in your iphone and select sync all ringtones 

I had to convert the song in too aac when i right clicked and Create aac version did not appear i do not know why ? what i have was convert to id3 tags / Mp3

 if it doesnt say that then click edit / preferences / general tab / import setting and make sure it says aac encoder then you should be set 

how do i make ringtones on a mac 

follow the proccess and skip past the first part in the folder settings 

I created the aac version but i could not rename it from .m4a to .m4r

you have to go back to the first part of the video and follow through the folder settings so that it shows the file extension   (.mp3 , .m4r)

Can i create a ringtone off a song i bought from iTunes

Ironically you can NOT Create a ringtone from a song off of iTunes it must be an mp3 from somewhere else .. ex  Limewire,Torrents,Music Websites

How do i get the ringtones tab to show on the left 

 go to edit / prefences / general tab and check the box that says ringtones

**If you are still having problems with creating your iPhone ringtones  you must have skipped a step somewhere i suggest going back and starting over with a different song**
