American History seen through the eyes of North Carolina

  

Course Description:

Social Studies in the 8th grade consists of examining the role of North Carolina within the history of the American nation and the world. Students will examine the roles of people, events, and issues in history that have contributed to the unique character of North Carolina and America today, with an emphasis on colonial to contemporary times.
