Indoor League Results
The Juniors were entered in the Andy Harris League for the first time last year. In Division 4 they were pitched against 4 senior and 3 junior teams, they won 4 out of 7 matches and came a most creditable 4th in the table. Top Boy for Mayflower based on aggregate in 10th place was Aaron Gourley and top Girl also in 10th place was Katie Ward, congratulations and exceedingly well done!

In the Bray League we were entered for both compound and recurve. The compounders came top of the table in Division 1 with a magnificent 7 wins out of 7. The recurvers came third in Division 1 with 4 wins out of 7. There were no records broken this year, but Mayflower hold most of them anyway!

The BA Portsmouth Postal League Mayflower was entered for both compound and recurve. The compounders came second in Division 26 with 3 wins out of 5 and the recurvers came top of Division 26 with 5 wins out of 5. Best scores in their respective leagues and gender went to Mitch in February and Wendie for all 5 matches!
Well done everyone and many thanks to all those who submitted scores.

Graham Pallett wins award
On Monday 19th May, Graham Pallett received the Bob Bielby Shield for Endeavour from the Basildon Sports Council, at the Markhams Chase Leisure Centre.
This trophy is awarded to a person who has made every effort to be involved in sporting activity, in spite of disability. In Graham's case, he initially took up archery in the Basildon Disabled Sports Association. He felt this was not sufficiently competitive, so he joined Mayflower Archers so that he could be involved in direct competition with able bodied archers. This is in addition to competing in DSE (Disabled Sport England) Regional and National Championships.
