Mayflower Archers Field Shoot , Sat 8th March 2008
This was the 4th Field Shoot at Barleylands co-hosted by
Roger Glover and yours truly.We were grateful once again to the Landlords
allowing us to use the wooded dell and area directly behind the open field.So
the week before hand Roger,David Scorah and I took a look and designed probably
the best course since we started these shoots 2 years ago.Making full use of the
area behind the containers made the difference and it added to a feel of a
'proper 3D shoot'.
29 Club members took part and we were lucky the weather was not as forecast,although windy and quite chilly ,the rain, as predicted didn't materialise.
It seemed everyone had a good time ,which made it worthwhile putting this shoot on.
