Club Warwick, Barleylands 26th April

We were blessed with wonderful weather for the first of this outdoor season Club internal Competitions. To get members warmed up, Warwick Rounds were on offer, with distances to suit everyone. With 31 members competing, not including the new beginner members, there were record numbers at our shooting field.

How impressive did our field look, not only with the numbers in attendance, but with the new smart flags, target numbers and short grass. I am sure all who were fortunate to be at Barleylands on Saturday would agree. People driving past must have wondered what was going on, indeed Club Members (myself included) were approached by friends and members of the public (in the Red Lion in my case!!) asking questions. All in all a great advertisement for Archery and our Club in particular.

Thanks for the support and many thanks to those members who helped out, without your help these events could not take place.
Dont forget 17th May Short Metric Competition at Barleylands and as a reminder entries no later than Sat 10th May.
