Mayflower Archers

An unseasonably mild day greeted a fair number of Archers at Panthers for an English Field Archery Association Unmarked 3D shoot.
Rather than the twice around fourteen targets ,we went once around the course to take in 28 different shots.This was really good as there were no repeats
and full use of the woodland was put to use,great for the Archers but hard work for the course layers.

I was in a group that consisted of Neil Bonner (Barebow) and Father and Son combination of Brett and Joseph Lewis( both Compound Unlimited).A good close battle with Brett and Joseph and both finished on 554 points,with the added bonus of Joseph claiming a EFAA Junior Record,Neil also put in
a EFAA Senior Claim with his 524 points ,very well done indeed.

We had a really good day and it was great to be able see most part of Panthers extensive woodland.Many Thanks to the members of Panthers who worked hard to lay this course and make it enjoyable for everyone concerned.
