This site is dedicated to researching the MAY Family, descended from
YANKEL HERSHEL (YAAKOV TZVI) HACOHEN MAY
who lived in a shtetl within Minsk Gubernia (State), Belarus.
He was a Cohen (of Priestly decent), thus a direct descendant of Aharon HaCohen (Aaron the High Priest, Moses's brother).
He had ten children, almost all of whom we understand emigrated to the USA.
One son, however, went to London, England:
We are the decendents of one of his son's, Chaim Dov Berel (Hyman) (HaCohen) May.
