ABOUT US

Maybri Kennels is situated in the town of Port Pirie, South Australia a little over 2 1/2 hours from Adelaide. We are new to breeding the Italian Greyhound although I have assisted my mother another breeder for some years. We were established in 2002, and thoroughly enjoy the breed.

My husband and I would like to take this time to thank you for visiting our site.

The Italian Greyhound are and elegant breed with character and intelligence, they have very few health problems and are very low maintenance due to their very short coat. The Italians make very good pets as they adapt themselves to their owners lifestyle. This elegant and graceful little greyhound in miniature has a long history as a favourite of royalty and pet of nobility. (even Cleopatra owned one of these delightful little creatures) The Italian Greyhound has always been greatly prized for his beauty, diminutive size and sweet disposition. Although giving the impression of being fragile, the breed is actually very hardy. He enjoys exercise and outdoors activity. He moves with a characteristic high-stepping prance and remains playful long after puppyhood.
