About where Mayblueotter came from:
I am a member of the Ute Tribe. I was born and raised on the Uintah & Ourray Reservation where I have lived most of my life until I came to college. There are three different bands on the U & O Reservation, and I am of the Whiteriver band. This means my people came from the region around Northwest Colorado. If you are more interested in looking into this history, a great book to read is People of the Shining Mountains. Another book that my grandfather helped put together is called Utes: The Mountain People. These are fair references when trying to capture the true history of the Northern Ute people.
