Pit Bulls are known for their "bad rep", however; this is not what the American Pit Bull is about. The American Pit Bull Terrier's are people loving, playful, energetic, territorial, powerful canine's that deserve recognition, respect, and caring. Like all animals they are born with instincts, but they can be taught appropriate behavior. These animals were used in WWII to locate ground mines, rescue and provide protection.
Yet today, because the Pit Bull has a "bad reputation", they are being threatened at a national level to banning & death. Nationally, many acts have passed and are trying to be passed in this effort. You do not see this happening to all other animals.WHY? You ask. Because many animal rights activists would be in court with lawyers obtaining injunctions and preventing this CRIME (murder of an animal).
