Danny G - The Ultimate Robbie Williams Tribute Show

From a young age, although still only 21, Danny was always a performer, always singing and acting, doing drama just as Robbie did himself. At school and into the sixth form Danny went on to do 'A' level drama and out of school attended drama classes and studying L.A.M.D.A.

Danny continued his love for drama and music and was the lead singer of two different bands, and it was always commented on how he looked and performed like Robbie Williams. Eventually in 2006 he went on his own to do a Robbie Williams Tribute Show. Danny looks, dresses, and performs as Robbie, with a natural talent and stage presence with all the arrogance, and moves of Robbie himself. YES! Danny really does ROCK!!!!

The Show : ~ 2 x 45 minutes with 30 minutes music prior, 30 minutes interval, and 30 minutes after or a full 60 minute show as required. Comes complete with own P.A. and lights. Danny also comes with Robbie's costumes and can provide backing dancers if required.

Breathe (Pink Floyd Tribute)

There was a Tribute Band "Out the Flesh" that got together in early 2004 who practised very hard & gigged in & around Northamptonshire playing some Pink Floyd classics; there was definately some things that were RIGHT, there was some PASSION for instance, but there were undoubtedly elements which didn't quite make the grade; the quality wasn't consistent.

Frustrations within "Out the Flesh" peaked in June 2005 & progress reached a hiatus. Some of the players decided that this particular chapter was over - An almost Floydian Split!

Fresh faces were recruited and "BREATHE" rose from the ashes; a team started to evolve who would all share a "no compromise" goal in re-creating the music of Pink Floyd and who had the ability to deliver.

Evolution is, by it's very nature, ongoing & as such we embrace it to gain the benefit.Performing with up to eight players in the on-stage team we are able to recreate many of the textures & layers that are to be found in Pink Floyd's post 1970's work & this is therefore our main focus; the band is disciplined in recreating the works but each player is given the space to deliver with their own personal slant; The result? A passionate homage to the music which we respect & love.

Breathe are a UK based collective of eight highly experienced musicians who have come together with the express purpose of sharing their joint passion for the music of Pink Floyd. The Breathe performance focuses mainly upon Floyd’s post 70’s catalogues but they do dip into the earlier works inspired by Syd Barrett such as the psychedelic but gloriously naïve “See Emily Play” which this year celebrates 40 years since it was originally penned.

 

Highlights for the year have included sharing the same Bill as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra & for the rest of 2007 the band find ample outlet for their passion by gigging up & down the country as much as they are able & also working towards a complete rendition of “The Wall” which will be ready for November. Breathe have been invited to perform the work “note for note” as part of a Roger Waters’ endorsed stage production at The Playbox Theatre in Warwick. The band will play the album from start to finish & be joined on stage by 150 young actors who will give their own drama & dance interpretation of the music under the guidance of Artistic Director Stewart McGill.

The current seasons performances commence with Set One made up of the fans favourites & recognised Major Works such as “Brick in the Wall”, “In the Flesh”, “Hey You”, “Coming Back to Life” & culminating with “Shine On you Crazy Diamond”. Set Two commences with a complete performance of the Album “Dark Side of the Moon” which gives our own very special diva, Jill Palmer, the opportunity to mesmerise the audience with a spine -tingling “Great Gig in The Sky”. Set Two is completed with the epic “Echoes” & seminal “See Emily Play”, if there is hunger for more the band more than just deliver with a heartfelt “Wish you were here” & wind up the concert with “Comfortably Numb” to ensure that everyone has had a satisfying & fulfilling Floydian trip.

 

In total, 2 hours 15 minutes of painstaking reproductions of the original tracks – no backing tracks, just good old fashioned musical ability & definitive arrangements.

One of the best double-bill shows you will see. Ian Scott is Neil Diamond (rated as one of the top three Neil Diamond tribute act in the UK) and the likeness is uncanny. True beginnings
The current line-up has been together since 2005,

Based in Kent/Sussex, but the band has a long and varied past.

To be true Don't you want me 80's was born out of an original 80's 5 piece band 'X Projection' which had a modicum of success in "86 to "90 with minor hits in Europe and the far east. Along with that came the album and many TV and radio appearances, working along side some of pops finest, some of which you can hear & see on this page. The band broke up at the end of "90 due to musical differences, but some of the members worked on different projects together, the lead singer was chased by Gordon Carlton from CBS records to sign a solo contract, but after an exhaustive 3 ½ years turned it down for a bit of P&Q, the guitarist was writing and recording footie song (strange!!!) and rest of the guys played and recorded with other bands around the country and abroad, but in "91 and then again in “94 the band were brought back together for a series of gigs up and down their native country - England.

X Projection were influenced by a lot of the Nu romantic bands that had gone before, but took it a stage further into more generalized pop, as David O' Donald (RCA) said, "...I think you sound like a cross between Wham and early Culture Club...", we didn't think so, but hey who were we to argue with an A&R executive!

The first line up of Don’t you want me 80’s was in “98 when a thought about bringing X Projection back for further set of gigs was discussed, but some members of the band wanted to do more than our old back catalogue, so three remaining members decided to name this new band Souvenir, which was change after 2 years to Don’t you want me 80’s. Playing our back catalogue of songs and music from 1980 – 1989 was popular and the older the band got, more the audience grew. By 2000 some of the members wanted to pack away their make-up bags and head for pastures new, so again the band was put on hold until 2003 when a new line up was put together by the original vocalist from X Projection, and that brings us up to today’s line-up

Technical's
The band have a 4500 watt P.A system which handle up to five hundred seater venues comfortably with tech crew if required. A larger P.A is available if required. We also have our own lighting rig for on stage lighting effect, and now we have the best laser show than any other 80's tribute band in the country! We are covered by a £10.000.000 public liability insurance and our equipment has been P.A.T certificated to make your event go smoothly and safely.

Graham Holly / Buddy Holly Tribute The ultimate tribute show is now just a phone call away!

The rock and roll legend Buddy Holly is now available for your cabaret venue.

There are many tribute artistes that claim to look and sound like Buddy Holly but do they? Graham Holly not only looks similar to Buddy Holly but he is the closest that you are ever likely to hear when it comes to a Buddy Holly sound alike! That's a bold statement to make, but you don't have to take our word for it. Just compare his pictures and vocals with those of other tribute artistes and see for yourself!            Graham Holly started imitating Buddy Holly at the age of ten. Inspired by his guitar playing he took up the guitar and began playing in various rock and roll bands. He has played live on GMR and various BBC Radio programs. On Jerry Lee Lewis's come back tour he got to play at his reception party. He is often asked to stand in on shows like Rockin On Heavens Door and In Dreams.              Graham is an excellent lead guitar player and does not need to mime  like so many other tribute performers do. Apart from Buddy his playing is also influenced by Chuck Berry, Scotty Moore, Cliff Gallop and Brian Setzer.

Guns N' Roses joins the ranks of many rock bands that “simply vanished”

at the pinnacle of their careers, such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Doors,

Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Stevie Ray Vaughan and so many more.

November Rain began with the thought of filling the huge vacuum

that still remains years after GNR's breakup.

With no GNR tribute bands in the East Coast worth seeing, in late 2004,

Jerry first presented the idea of a GNR tribute band

to Phil (Before Jerry could finish his “sales pitch”, Phil was in.

Given Phil’s multi-instrumental talents, it was quickly agreed that

Phil would be filling the rhythm guitar and keyboard duties. 

Jerry contacted drummer George Giordano, the one man he knew

could bring the power, energy and muscle to anchor this project.  

When the call for bass players went out, George quickly recruited

Steve Gerraputa to help him recreate the powerful rythym section that is at the heart of GNR. 

 Like Phil, Steve has many years of experience in tribute acts. 

He is currently performing as “Ross Valory” in Separate Ways

– The Journey Tribute Show. After an exhaustive 6 month search,

Brian Andersen walked into the audition studio and easily handled the role of lead vocals.

The Black Country Boys

Tony is fast establishing himself as one the best vocalists to come out of the
West Midlands for many years.
His unique vocal range is second to none.
Tony delivers tributes to Bon Jovi,
Robbie Williams, Frank Sinatra, Gene Pitney, Pavarotti to name but a few.

Tony has been singing for
10 years, and in this time he entered numerous competitions and represented the
West Midlands against the rest of Britain in a rock idol competition.

In a short time he has also worked with celebrities, including Stan Boardman,
John Lowe, Shel Macrae and many more.

18 months back he created a tribute to Freddie Mercury which has left Audiences everywhere gasping for breath. The unique vocal likeness to the late great Freddie along with his stage presence is explosive.
Seeing is believing.

And now along with good friend Paul has brought these tributes and many more to
The Black Country Boys.

From an early age of four, Paul was always singing with his dad, from the age of eight
he entered talent competitions at Butlins and other holiday parks, wining free holidays and prizes.

In 1980 Paul qualified as a football referee lasting fifteen good years, reaching the standard of Southern League. It was not long before he got back on stage being involved with The Warley Strolling Players, a comedy sketch involving referees, which they performed at referees associations all over the Midlands.

Paul also took on the job of entertainment secretary at his local conservative club, which he held for eight years, booking acts and performing himself.
He then got involved with football hero the late Jeff Astle performing with Jeff all over the country in the Jeff Astle road show.

Paul's other hobbies include Golf along with his good friend Shel Macrae
(Ex lead singer with the Fortunes) they have played in celebrity golf days all over the country and Spain with actors, footballers, comedians such as Sir Norman Wisdom,
Sir Geoff Hurst, Kevin Whatley and
Stan Boardman the list goes on.

Paul has now teamed up with good friend Tony to produce a Complete Tribute And Entertainment Package.
