Above is the smybol of the Bionicle, the legend that all matoran believe in. It states that six heroes called Toa would come and save their island home of Mata Nui from the evil Makuta. And as you know, that very prophcey has now come very true. That is merely the first half the the matoran religon, the second, is in the three virtues.

In that symbol above, you'll notice that there are three circles in the center, they stand for the three virtues the matoran believe in: Unity, Duty, and Destiny. The top small circle is Unity, the bottom small one is Duty, and the large center one is Destiny.
