Assalamu Alaikum Dear Brothers & Sisters in Islam,

Alhamdulillah Masjid Omar has been in operation for over 3 years now and all praise is due To Allah for having accomplished the following :

The Mosque is open for five times Daily Salaah.

Friday Jummah prayer weekly.

The first Jummah at 1:50PM

The second Jummah at 3:30PM

Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan are conducted by four Huffaz.

Dawah activities are on an ongoing basis.

Quran Classes are held for kids Monday-Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Summar School will be held from 2nd. July to 29 August 2008. Monday to Thursday from 11.30 AM to 1.30 PM

Taleem of Hadiths daily after Maghrib

All these have been possible through your community help and support. We now like to present to you our financial picture. Alhamdulillah we have paid  $56,700.00 GST,  completed renovation of  the basement which consits of prayer hall for both man and woman, washroom facility, heating and cooling systems. We need more $220,000 for renovation of the main floor of the Masjid and a kitchen on the basement. Carpet from Saidu Arab is being ordered and InsaAllah in Ramadan we can start praying on the main floor. Alhamdulillah,

We have hired two Maulana.

We have renovated a complete worship area for sisters.

We have renovated the basement to a prayer hall for brothers.

We have replaced the heating system.

We have registered AKM as a charitable organization by the Federal Government of Canada.

We are in a process of renovating the main prayer hall. Total cost will be approx. $235,000.00.    

Your donation is tax free.

Please donate for the house of Allah.

 All these were possible for your generous help. To serve better to our community we need more help from you and your family. To meet monthly expenses $5,000 per month. The easiest way to achieve this monthly amount is if 50 families can pledge $100 a month ($3.33 per day).  To complement the shortcoming please bring also $10.00 every Friday. Donate generously and put your money in the bank of Allah for the life hereafter.
