In the name of Allah, the most beneficent and merciful
Masjid-E-Anwarul Harm
Background of Masjid-ul-Anwarul Harm: A masjid on the model of Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) times.
Al-hamdulillah, there is no doubt that new masjids are being built quite fast and with latest building technology. There is nothing wrong in masjids being constructed using modern technologies. But it is wrong only to aim at the construction of a masjid. Seeing the present-day decorative masjids, the prophet Mohammed (PBUH) would have said,“ These Masjids are good buildings with latest technology but are far from the real/ true spirit.” The outward appearance of today’s masjids is way ahead in terms of technology and decoration but they are not in their real shape & spirit. Also those works are not done, which was the order of Prophet’s time. Today the masjids are opened with Azaan and immediately after the formal prayers are performed the lights, fans, etc, are put off and the masjid is locked. Only the toilets are kept open. If at all masjids are used after regular prayers, they are used to resolve the disputes referred to the masjids and even these are rarely settled.
Masjid-ul-Anwarul Harm: This masjid is being built with an intention of maintaining both inward and outward realities of a masjid. The structure of this masjid will be exactly the same as the prophet’s masjid (Masjid-e-Nabavi) during Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) time.
During prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) time, masjids were the centers for all activities like educating and training women, developing Islamic culture in youth, spreading of Islamic teachings to every nook and corner of the world, treatment of sick, sending teams of mujahideens, doing tabligh among nonmuslims etc. The every functional activity was done from Masjid-e-Nabvi.
With the advice and guidance of Islamic scholars, the masjid now being proposed to be built will be nearly identical to Masjid-e-Nabavi existed during the time of prophet Mohammed (PBUH) in its length, height, ceiling, floor, etc. No doubt today’s masjid-e-Nabvi is the best example of latest technology and development. Remember if Allah wanted a decorative masjid for his dearest and nearest personality - prophet Mohammed (PBUH), he would have constructed the masjid with bricks of gold and silver brought from jannah. But the masjid was very simple, the pillars and roof of which were made of date trees and the floor was muddy.
If everyone wants to enjoy the essence of namaz and feel the proximity with Allah, it is difficult to get the feeling in the modern masjids which have latest technologies, soft carpets, lit with expensive decorative lights, provided with air conditions, fans, etc.,
Unfortunately, a section of muslims, in the name of secularism, turning to other religious institutions (ashrams) in search of mental peace.
Insha Allah the Masjid-al-Harm being in the shape of Masjid-e-Nabvi of 1500 years back, will enlighten the souls and provide mental peace than any other ashrams or places of meditation.
Hazrat Ayesha’s Hujra:
Generally while traveling, men go to nearby masjids for namaz, while ladies wait for them outside the masjid or sit in the vehicle. Masjid-al-Harm will have a hall in the name of Hujra-e-Ayesha. It would have a bathroom, toilet and wadhu facilities for women. The women can peacefully do their prayers in complete purdah. This Hujra will have a full time lady scholar who will preach the important things about wadhu, namaz, etc.
Hospital:
A doctor for men and a lady doctor for women will be available. Highway travelers who fall sick suddenly will be treated. One of the main reasons to have a hospital is that accidents are everyday feature on highways. Generally after such accidents, the condition of patients would be critical. The nonmuslims present there take Allaha’s name and make the patient drink water and to do the first aid. An ambulance of the hospital will be on rounds on the highway. If the treatment of the patient (accident victim) is possible, he/she will be taken to the nearest hospital and their relatives will be informed. On the other hand, if there is no chance of life, he/she will be given taharath and talqueen for kalmia-e-tayyiba, so that their end is on imaan.
Aswaq of Masjid-al-Harm (Shop of Masjid-E-Anwarul Harm:):
The shops near Masjid-al-Harm will be constructed to serve the basic needs of the people and also do tabligh (Dawah) among muslims and nonmuslims. Muslims will be advised to practice the things and nonmuslims will be invited towards Islam (Dawah). The shops will have standard items whose prices will be lesser than the market price. The motive behind this is not to make profit but to provide basic requirements.
Hazrath Abu-Huraira’s Hujra:
This will be a large hall which will have comfortable beds, bathrooms, toilets and hot water round the clock. Nonmuslims can also avail the facilities. Nothing will be charged for this. A scholar will be appointed here who will be a master in English and other languages. This hall will be nearest to the high way. The main reason for this is to do tabligh among nonmuslims. The scholar will not only be a good host to these guests but will also clear all their doubts regarding Islam. As per the requirements of the modern times, books in different languages, audio cassettes and videos will be provided for the interested people.
Darul Arqam:
This will be a hall where all authenticated scholars will be invited every now and then to address on important current issues for which seminars will be conducted. Controversies in the community like not celebrating Eid on same day, issues on Talaq, validity of Nikah over phone, etc, will be dealt with and doubts will be cleared in the light of Islamic sharia.
Suffa Chabutra:
Although there will be permanent madrassa (school) built in the premises, youth from different areas will be invited and guided as to what they should do in their particular areas for the sake of Islam and Muslims (Ummah). They will be trained on how to eradicate evil practices of money lending on interest, demanding hefty dowry, etc.
Hujra of Hazrath Umar:
A dedicated hall is made to deal with the public cases in accordance with (Shariah) law of Quran and Hadees. It is an Islamic court of law which is free from any kind of external influence. Insha Allah all the cases will heard and judgements will be given by the Mufties and Ulemas.

If you cannot participate in helping financially, then at least pray for the construction of the Masjid-ul-Anwarul Harm a success. You can pray 2 rakats of salat-ul-hajath. In the first rakat -- after surah Fatiha recite Aithal Kursi three times. In the second rakat - after surah Fatiha, recite surah Ikhlas three times, surah Falaq three times and surah Naas three times. Then complete the rest of the namaz as usual. After the salam, recite Darood Sharif 7 times, 101 times “Qazial Hajath” and again recite Darud Sharif 7 times. Then pray for the whole ummah and for the Masjid-al-Harm. This would be your greatest donation for the masjid and you will be rewarded in the Aqhirath. Insha Allah.
