Born In Belfast in 1973, I've always been drawing since my childhood, growing up in a troubled era, not understanding the politics of my time, I either drew or kicked a football around the streets dreaming I was Dalglish or Rush. My teenage years introduced me to Metal/Rock music and the fantastic album covers, which ended up adorning the back of my denim jacket or the walls of my bedroom. This was also the time when I found Tolkien's Middle-Earth which then opened the doors to other authors such as Raymond E. Feist, David Gemmell, Guy Gavriel Kay and a host of other fantasy worlds and their book covers. Hopefully one day my dream of having my artwork on a book cover will materialise.
Subsequently I was introduced to the art of the Hildebrandts, Boris Vallejo, Larry Elmore, Simon Bisley and Todd Lockwood, the list goes on and all serve as inspiration to produce my own images. Contained within this site are some of these creations which, hopefully will make you desire your very own original art painted my myself or at the very least encourage you to take up a paintbrush yourself!!
