"MartialHorror" is a website dedicated to my two favorite film genre's: Martial arts and horror. While I do make special exceptions as to what I review, the website mainly focuses on these two genres. However, I also use the focus somewhat liberally. If a movie simply has martial arts, or has it's scary moments, I may also review them.

UPDATE: 2/11- In order to catch up, for the next four days there will be a review for every day. Enjoy! Also, March will be "Hellraiser" month, where I spend the bulk of the month reviewing Hellraiser films.

HORROR REVIEWS: Contains Old school Horror, thrillers, zombies, J-horror, Italian horror, exploitation, slashers, etc.

MARTIAL ARTS REVIEWS: Contains Kung Fu, Samurai, Action, westerns, fantasy, sci-fi, etc.

(Note on Reviews: Some movies might blend martial arts and horror, so I have to use my judgment to see where it fits)

FISTFUL OF MARTIALHORROR: Like MartialHorror's style? If not, too bad! This is where I'll keep my revised reviews, tributes, updates on my current script, links, essays and more!

2/11- Fireball is a 2009 action movie that combines basketball with Muy Thai kickboxing. It's pretty enjoyable, but very faulty.

2/8- Alien Vs Ninja is a pretty stellar example of "it's so bad it's good" filmmaking. It's just silly, shoddy fun.

2/6- The Woman in Black (2012) is a conventional ghost story on paper, but the chills and thrills make it worth the watch.

2/3- Two Thousand Maniacs! is supposed to be one of the better films of 'The Godfather of Gore', H.G Lewis. But it sucks.

1/31- Tiger and Crane Fists is the film that would eventually become known as "Kung Pow". In itself, it's mediocre. But when you compare and contrast it to "Kung Pow", it becomes hilarious.
