Our school has 320 students. It has grades kindergarten to grade 7. We have a small school in Surrey
, B.C. we have a very small gym. Our school is main
buildings and portables.
We are a french immersion school. In our class we have 24
students grade 5-6 split. We are ages 9,10,11 and 12. Our
class loves gym. During
recess and lunch we like to play soccer. In our science group we
have 3
boys and 2 girls. Our project we have
done is a model of a wind turbine and we are now working on a web page.
We are looking up information about Mars Exploration. Our group
name is Marsmen. The picture below is our mission patch and a descripton of it. The
area we live in is Surrey, B.C. Our school name is McLeod Road
Elementary. Our aliases are Nicole, Diane, John, Michael, and Nicholas.
We all think that space is neat. We have been studying particularly
space for about one month. We have been also learning about famous
Canadian astronauts. Nicole is ten, John is eleven, Diane is eleven.
Michael is eleven, and Nicholas is nine years old. As a group, we
sometimes don't always get along, but most of the time we do get
along. Surrey is the City of Parks. Surrey is one of the main
cities in British Columbia. There are many different cultures in
Surrey. There are also many different restaurants and parks in Surrey.
P.E. and science are our favorite subjects. British Columbia is mostly
forest. Nicole's birthday is September 13th, Michael's birthday is June
10th, Diane's birthday is March 18th, John's birthday is January 23rd,
and Nicholas' s birthday is June 27th. Our school is very old. It was
built in 1964.
I'm going to tell you the description of our mission patch. On our mission patch we
have a big space shuttle. The colours of our space shuttle are blue, red, black,
yellow and white. On the sides of the space shuttle there are two yellow stars. In
the middle of the space shuttle it says Canada in red. Also, the very tip of our
space shuttle is red. On our mission patch there is also a large sun. The colours of
our sun are yellow in the centre, red next, and orange on the outside. There is a
shooting star in one corner and there is Mars in other corner. There is also little

Sur notre pièce rapportée de mission, il y a un bateau de fusée. Les
couleurs du bateau de fusée sont bleu, rouge, noir, jaune, et blanc. Sur les
cotés du bateau de fusée, il y a des étoiles. Dans le milieu du
bateau de fusée il dit Canada en rouge. Aussi, le bout du bateau de fusée
est rouge. Il y a aussi un soleil grand. Les couleurs du soleil sont jaune dans le
milieu, après jaune il y a rouge, et après le rouge, il y a l'orange. Il y
a aussi une étoile dans un coin et il y a Mars dans une autre coin. Il y a
