Welcome! I am a small hobby breeder in the lovely Alberni Valley on Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada. My interest in Chihuahuas, both short and long coat began when I was showing and breeding Shetland Sheepdogs. Health problems made running around the show ring difficult and I was looking for a small toy breed to eleviate this problem so I could continue with my hobby of showing dogs.
I purchased my first chihuahua, a short coat, and lost my heart to the personality of this tiny toy dog. Chihuahuas made an easy fit into my busy lifestyle and now I wouldn't go back to a non-chihuahua life! Please enjoy a trip through my website and visit my tiny friends.
First, let me tell you about myself. I have been actively showing and breeding Shetland Sheepdogs for the past 30 years, am a 25+ member in good standing with the Canadian Kennel Club, and enjoy the position of Treasurer with our local All Breed Kennel Club of which I have been a 23 year member. I still belong to the Canadian Shetland Sheepdog Association as well as the Shetland Sheepdog Club of BC for which I still edit a tri-monthly newsletter. My foray into toy dogs began with Pomeranians and branched into Chihuahuas in more recent years.
