James and Adam performed at Fontainebleau in Miami on New Year's Eve. According to the NY Daily News, "Outside at the Fountainbleu’s pool, Maroon 5 crooner Adam Levine belted out a few acoustic tunes before spraying the crowd with champagne and heading offstage to hug singer Gavin DeGraw, who had been cheering from the side."

The 2009 Grammy Nominations were just announced and Maroon 5 has been nominated!
They were nominated for Grammy's in the following categories in last nights ceremony:
Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for their revised version of “If I Never See Your Face Again” featuring Rihanna
Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group with Vocals for “Won’t Go Home Without You”
The Grammy's air on CBS on February 8, 2009 so make sure that you tune in!

When Adam was in Chicago recently doing an interview with KISS FM, he may have hinted that Maroon 5 is collaborating with Rihanna.
He said,
"We were just in the studio messing around with her. I was listening to her sing in a vocal booth without any effects...she's the real deal, she's bad ass."
When he was asked for more info, Adam said,
"That's all I'm saying, I shouldn't even open my mouth!"

Maroon 5 played a gig last night (Feb. 24) at the Apple Store in NYC. It took place in Manhattan and Maroon 5 played the entire album, "It Won't Be Soon Before Long" Live.
