Here you may download some examples I program using the free Basic-Interpreter wxBasic.
They are licensed under the LGPL.
There is a MacOS-X -version too, but as I dont't have a mac, I can not test it (deutsche info - english info).

Backup a list of folders/files to seperate zip-files.
You can restore them with any zip-tool like winzip or file-roller.

Try this small game-demo or this small Scribble (Paint)-example. It can load/save files, a big advantage compared to Javascript-based solutions.
