Mark Moreland is an accomplished musician and a highly respected luthier. He has performed as a violinist in the United States and Europe, and is a member of the Violin Society of America. Mark is also a member of the American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers, an elite group of artists recognized by their peers as among the best in America.

Mark’s instruments, crafted by hand in the French tradition, command respect from some of the finest musicians performing today. For years, Mark was foreman of a well-known West Coast repair workshop. While there, he also built instruments for professional musicians, including members of major American, Canadian, European, and South African orchestras and chamber ensembles.

Mark’s instruments have won numerous tone awards at international competitions. He continues to be active as a maker and restorer of fine instruments. To inquire about repair service or commissioning a new instrument, please contact Mark.
