Maritime Rattery Welcome |
We are located in Truro, Nova Scotia and specialize in fancy rats of such varieties as velveteen, rex and standard coated in blazed, variegated, hooded, possum faced, berkshire, self and so much more. We also have hairless rats, with many of our rats being dumbo earred or dumbo ear carriers. All of our rats are handled from day one ensuring that they are well socialized and mild tempered.

And have your name put on the list for a rattie, sometimes you don't have to wait long before getting one there are times I may have some available and ready to go, then there are other times if you are looking for something special in marking or color you may have to wait longer. Just send me an e-mail and find out what I have.
Rats make wonderful pets for kids, and anyone. They can be trained many things such as; to stay on your shoulder, to go in the litter box, to come when called. All these are easy for a rat to learn.
They don't bite, and are always ready to play or cuddle when you want them. They don't get angry if you wake them, and are always welcome to see you. Some love to give lots of kisses and go out for rides on your shoulder.
Rats love to have a partner of the same sex to play with when you are away at work or out, to snuggle up to and keep warm and use eachother for pellows, and to clean eachother. This will not make them bond to eachother more then you, you don't have to worry about that, they will both love you like crazy.
